Thought of buying a second hand sonic...

 

I just got my licence a couple of weeks back, and really dunno anything about bikes. was thinking of a wave r or s but came across a sonic ... 2nd hand...

 

mileage ran is about 31000km and about 3 years old.

The shop is selling to me at around 2.8 k...

 

worth it?

 

apparently, i heard the parts of sonic will cost quite a bit if it breaks down, cos not common. I cant seem to find more details online as well.

 

Can :help: ?

Try cbr150. it is not bad. Save alot on fuel. it is 4stroke. new bike. Easy to mantain too.. You can ask the boss about this bike. Regarding your sonic i am not so sure. Afterall cbr is 150cc while sonic is 125cc. =)

take some time, list down all the bikes that you think you can / will wanna buy.

 

then... from this forum, go read every relevant thread about every bike.... page by page... some might be 10 pages... others 100 pages...

 

just read 5 pages every day... 2 months finish reading everything... more or less lah...

 

whilst these 2 months, get a friend bring you around.. and ask bike shop for prices of the individual machines... or check online from what others have PREVIOUSLY POSTED... do not post new threads just becos you're lazy...

 

after you done all those.... 2 months from now... you'll know alot more about bikes and of course.. you'll know what suits you... and where to buy it...

 

2 words basically...

i called up one shop...spark limited edition OTR ard $4.5k with insurance round ur age and experience

krazyfist just bought a new wave r..limited edition which means rear disc brake at 3.9k..
