eh u noe the 'A clip' at the middle cowl, the one where on the right mid cowl must remove together with bolt to access toolkit? that one how to snap it back in place?

manual onli say remove/insert. first time i try remove, i pull until fingernail almost come off. skali by chance i push in the center of the clip, it pops out. now i noe how to remove. but remove already, i cant figure out how to snap it back in place. i insert it but it doesn snap-lock and easily removed, unlike the first time where it is clearly locked in place.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

just slap on a K&n air filter .........let's see what kind of mil can i get

i think it will increase e fuel consumption... if adding a k&n filter with slip-on, must put PC3 liao.. fuel/air ratio haywire liao...

oh just the '+' screw and the cowl can pull out far enuff to access izzit? aiyah, i bike new-new so i think everything fragile heh heh didn dare pull it out far. so i went by the book and tried pulling out the 'clip A', whih i eventually succeeded, but now donno how to snap it back in place.

when u say 'trial and error', u mean u ever manage to snap-lock the 'clip A' back in place tight after removal? rite now i seriously wondering if that clip is a '1 time' thing; take out once and cannot snap-lock in place anymore.

you mean the one next to the fuel tank? if that's the one , look carefully you will see a line in the centre .just press it down and you can lift the clip up liao

yah thats the one i talking about.

i already figured out how to remove (after spending 10 mins pulling until fingernail feel like wanna come off). but wat i want to know is how to lock it back in place, coz i insert it back but it slips out easily again; i.e., its not locked in place like the first time.

lift up the centre part of the clip higher , now push the clip down using the side of the clip only . once in liao the press the centre portion down and flush with the rest.... lock liao

ah! i figured out how already! with the clip in my hands, i push the bottom tip of the clip firmly against the 2 semicircle parts at the top. the bottom tip will go 'inside' as the center rectangular portion on top pops out above the 2 semicircle portions. with the clip in this position, i insert and push the rectangular portion (which currently is above the semi-circle portions) downwards until flushed, which locks it in place.

a bit different from ur explanation, but watever works :cheeky:
