anybody know how much a black or rainbow tinted windshield would cost, both original curvature and double bubble?

if double bubble, would the number plate still be able to stick on ok? coz if cannot, i rather stick to original curvature than use sticker number plate.

and wats tp/rov/lta stand on tinted windshields and headlight protectors?

thanx.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

my front number plate is metal bent to 'fit' my windshield shape and then attached with thick double-sided adhesive tape. its not the 'paper sticker' kind of number plate.

which light u put the protector? i assume is the left hi-beam light. any probs wif the law so far?

and any idea about tinted windshields? the 70% rule like cars oso izzit?

if i'm not wrong, the approved kind is wat mechwira's been usin.

the sticker kind is not approved type.

jus a matter of whether they close one eye anot durin your vehicle inspection or road blocks.

for headlight protectors, i saw motoworld sellin this brand ventura @ $45.

its clear kind, maybe you can buy those tinted film & paste onto it.

i've seen this guy in sbf by the nick, movistar usin it on his k5, maybe ask him where he bought it.

tinted/mercury windshields ain't too sure liao.

heard ah boy there sellin puig brand windshield @ $145, tinted kind.

not sure the stock for 600RR arrive oredi.

try not to cover it when e bike is hot

tailboard MIGHT deform

so far i cover it when e bike is cool

or i cover everything, leaving e exhaust expose (no plate n rear wheel can be seen)

some1 did suggest to me , to cut an opening on e bike cover at e exhaust area

let hot air escape.. i think its Tashi :cheeky:

wow... thanks for your info! :cheeky:

but its alittle hard to wait till bike cool down den cover.

normally i wait abt 2mins den cover the entire bike.

hopefully long term run, it won't scar my tailboard.

you mean purposely go cut a small openin ah?

like tat rainin, water will seep thru.

or your cover got zip or velcro izzit.

Really meh?? Wonder why this phenomena occurss.. is it because of the exhaust? I heard a few people advising to put a plastic covering over the light before; maybe to prevent the colour from fading or what..
