hi bro.. u guys know where can do powder coating? and how much is it to powder coat the swing arm?

 

Sanfu bikeshop at Shun Li Industrial..was quoted 1600 for both frame and swing arm so swing arm is cheaper..but waiting time is 1 mth..i dunno y...:faint:

bro u can try vr-zone forums. they have time to time power coating of pc casing and the quality not bad & cheap.

anyone's bike hit the 100k mark??? wat do i nid to look out for??

 

go to your trusted bikeshop and do a top servicing then let them open up your engine and look out for wear and tear..thats what i did when my bike reached 60k..

wah so expensive? must be top quality.

 

dont think its expensive bcos of top quality..its bcos its a hassle and not a lot of shop willing to do it..so those who can will naturally charge alot since theres no competitors..

but if u want to powdercoat swing arm shud be way cheaper and less time to wait since its easier to dismantle than an engine..will help ask if u really interested..then can do together get discount..:cheeky:

and u still on ur cbr? are we the onli ones left from the 'old guard' still with our cbr?

 

i'm changing tyres next month, think i'm sticking to pilot power 2ct again for the 4th year running. bloody hell prices have gone up by a hundred bucks.

 

i want either 50/50 or 70/30 kind of road/track bias. the pp2ct have been really great, but 2 years of road is the max it can take, its down to indicators already. i dun mind 2 year cycle change of tyres.

 

but i wonder if bridgestone and dunlop equivalents have caught up with the pp2ct. i haven read any article comparing the pp2ct with its equivalents.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

hi.. currently i'm having problem deciding wat year to buy. Would like to know 07 Cbr 600 and 08 CBR which should i choose. if 08 muz buy a new bike. if 07 there is 2nd hand letting go. which should i go for? and is the different realli that huge? hope some of the bikers here can share their experiences thanks
