i ask the uncle to tighten liao but after one month or so the chain becoome loose again.. Scare tat it will come out one day..come out never mind but if fall how :giddy:

Hi to all x1 riders, do you all encounter this problem before:

 

1) warming up the engine with chokes on for abt 2mins and throttle a bit before

moving off (at neutral)

2) change to 1st gear (with hands still on the clutch in) before moving off

3) after about 30 secs to 1min in that position, the engine almost everytime die off

again before i can engage 1st gear to move off.

 

it happened to me quite lots of time already, is it something wrong with the engine or wat else?

 

it also happens even after travelling sometime(engine should be warm up by then) on the road, especially during stopping at traffic lights. the engine juz die off like that (noticing that i m in the right gear), making me everytime have to kick start the engine halfway along the traffic before i can move off.

 

please advice me on this issues thks grealty for ur help.

Think u better go to yamaha service center tell them ur problem & get it repair.

I use to have this backfire problem, everything i rode my bike. Than go here & there repair also got the same problem....waste my $$$$. Than finally went to the Service center & they did a good job, no more backfire :thumb:

Erhrm, I guess it's probably the riding style.

 

I do mainly expressway riding, maintaining a average speed of 100km/h to 120km/h.

 

When I tried to ride slower, below 80km/h, I managed to get abt 160km per tank. :sweat:

try adjust ur idle for ur carb,make it higher.that's will solve ur problem.:thumb:

hmz...juz wondering

will they entertain bikes which have been slightly modified?

im using racing spark plug cable

 

and my bike have this minor problem on the 1st day i got it before any mods were done....

when i reach ard 80kmph on 4th gear...

the power delivered by engine become rough...abit jerky....

if i were to open the throttle somemore....once the speed clears the 80kmph range...

then it will go back to normal until the nxt time i hit the 80kmph range again...

Mine also.. So ugly.

 

Thinking of using stickers on my windshield, but it seems like quite a tight fit. :sweat:

okie... sorry for starting a new thread.... will get my new x1 on wednesday, and sold my SP... so there something i wish to change after i run in..... My X1 will be Orignal Black and silver white colour...

 

- Rim ( sport rim - Chrome and black )

- Tyre ( Battlex )

- Foot rest ( yoshi - like frog leg like that - dunno which colour suit )

- Suspension - was thinking is shock = suspension ( dunno which colour suit )

 

Eh.. one thing is i dun wish to go JB do... lazy to go down.... need the find out the price .... cheapest and work wise, no need to say... the better the merrier... the bike shop i brought X1 is at eunos super bike..... they quote me Rim ( $100 ) tyre ( $160 - ex right ? ) footrest ( $100 ) suspension ( $70 )

 

Please dun flame me... just want to know more....
