hi bros and sis,

 

I am new to this X1 portal but i have got some problems (probably serious) with my X1, hope anyone can help...

 

Whenever i decelerate to a stop (with clutch pulled) , my X1 will produce the "tak tak tak" sound, coming from beneath of my foot rest.

 

I tried to replicate that by putting my bike on full stand, throttle thru and reduce speed, i can't get the same sound. After reading so many threads here, i suspect it has something to do with my gone-case Clutch Plate. Anyone can advise?

 

Also, i have been wanting to approach an honest mechanics to 'diagnose' the problem, anyone can recommend a trust-worthy mechanics for X1?

hmmm Tak tak sound.. do you have the sound when you change gear while moving? listen to the sound again i believe its coming from the back.

yea could be your bearings..

cos on load u can hear the sound but not when u put main stand rite?..

eehh i oso got the same prob.. did the main stand thing oso.. at first suspect chain... but its not.. clucth plate? i doubt so.. guess it has to be bearings.. hmm but me being me.. bo chap haha.. u rectify and identify the prob alr tell me hahah...

The offence is parking vehicle at common property, the fine is 50 bucks and was given 14 days to make payment. But the problem is this notice expires on today. I was thinking of appeal early morning tml or should i wait to meet the MP. quite worried ar ! because expire today. HAHA !

 

I know abit off track ? but can any1 help ?

hmmm... guys... wat do u think abt having box on ur cub??? do u think it is unnecessary additional weight to ur bike or does it help u to hav more rear traction??

i guess alot of people missed it cause it was kind of impromptu and it was actually like combined cub outing instead of just x1s initially. probably more people next time around if organised in advance. =p

is the rims with brake disk,racing foot-rest used for sparks can be transfer to x1 ??

 

reason because:

i downgrade to a sparks from a gixxer

but now i thinking of selling my sparks to get a 929 cum a x1

 

because of the extra cash if i sell my spark

shop taking in at 3k =P

a box is a must!lol..usually outing dey all say my bike xtra coz my bike is de only 1 wif a box..but for me coz sometimes i always go shopping den normal bag nt big enuff 2 fit in all de stuffs + my box oso to put my helmet & jacket coz lazy 2 carry arnd..im using e33..nt dat heavy bah..i'd prefer de wt coz my bike v light den if wind blow i oso sure fly 2gether wif de bike ^^
