fake arai really very bad quality. might as well get a nova helmet.

I own a tsr helmet and I own a nova

 

both quality is somewhat similar

 

but if u buy from sg seller here it will cost $100 up

 

in jb if u can find a better lobang, u could get at $90

 

I belive it's even way cheaper then that.

 

as for the safety standards, same as like psb lar... (compare apple with apple here)

 

want safe go for dot or snell ... better

 

I agree with the rest that if u buy above $100, then rather buy the reputable brands

if im not wrong replica are usually tsr helmet..as they look the same..and they paste arai sticker over it so tht it looks the same as arai helmet..only tht the sticker are quite obvious..yah i wont go for arai replica..i mite be looking for tsr instead..with arai kind of designs

If you are comparing full face with open face, then there is nothing to argue - FF is safer.

 

Howver, ppl who uses an open face for various reasons - convenient, more comfy, cheap, etc.

 

So, if a rider accepts and wear an open face, then his options open up. He can choose...

1. PSB approved open face helmets

2. Other country certified helmets

3. Others.

 

TSR belongs to group 2. That's why those already wearing open face helmet will consider TSR.

Not sure about this but I think OGK also belongs to group 2, am I right?

500++ for open face arai compared with 500++ hjc fullface with lorenzo design..which is more worth it n safer?..i think those who buy the arai only goes for it due to its design n the "hoo-haa" of the brand name..if u go out wearing arai helmet,others will be like " fuuhh arai siol"..but if u wear a full face hjc,noone will be going to u n say " fuhh HJC siol"..get wat i mean?

u still gonna scrap ur face when the visor or visor mechanism give way...

 

so if u say , for safety. .. go for reputable brands with dot and snell approved FULLFACE helmets.

 

but tsr is a replica, but still approved by sirim. so treat it live those psb open face helmets yah.

 

cost above $100 ... go buy reputable brands.
