uncle as in bike shop uncle? you got your licence yet dude? if you have the ownership is yours if you make a purchase regardless installment or not..unless you fail to make installment they will tow it backk to shop. if you haven't gotten yr licence, don't waste time, go get it! :thumb:

hi guys

someone pls feedback on this "money saving" suggestion whether it can work or not

case:

young chap buy bike as owner, insurance very expensive ... lets say $1200

if get dad to buy bike, ah pek with experience pay lower premium mah ... lets say $600

then dad add son as sub-rider... will sub-rider premium be

if much less, good deal coz both dad-n-son can ride the bike... both are covered

any difference in coverage for main & sub-rider?

if this method can work... then many young riders can benefit also :cheeky:

may all be well and happy

this loop hole has long been covered up.. now the insurance premium takes the age of the youngest rider, so no difference..

try to survery around, ask different companies might give different qoutes.

different staffs from the same company might give different qoutes too.

i got mine 2nd party for $886. kinda cheap i guess which was around 4 months ago by NTUC.

most prob i ride a phantom, and my dad/sis/mom is her client. heh heh.

got the whole family covered up by the same staff..

well anyways, another qoute i got from NTUC as well for 2nd party = $1k++

if you want cheap cheap, wait till 21. by then, you can take your 2a, class 2, and insurance will be cheaper, if you buy a 2b bike. no pplates too!.

For every 7 pounds you lose, you gain one horsepower.

Other than pricing for FV Ta200, wld like to check the procedure to get the insurance cert done up. Which company cheapest and easier to settle for 3rd Party Fire & Theft?

I am 27 this yr and passed my 2b in 2003.

Did a check yesterday after i finally collected my newest insurance cert.

Prices for someone like me on 3rd party (bearing in mind the price hikes in 2007 for young riders):

AXA (my current one) - $288 + $20 (GST) = $308.

Mitsui - $920 without GST.

I have the best signature.

TheYasMan, does it include fire and theft or just third party only?

Where to get AXA ah?

Pls Ride Safely.
