I agree on this part.

Unknown brand it may be but consider this:

AGV was a brand only Ah-Peks & uncles on RXZs and cubs used as their helmets.

Suddenly Rossi was wearing an AGV and you suddenly see it popping up everywhere and priced ridiculously high.

 

So means to say if Casey Stoner were to switch to Rjays (both being Australians), means Rjays are suddenly the safest helmet in the planet?

Hello All,

 

Just bought a new Striker helmet at Regina yesterday.

Tried a ton of FF helmets and this one felt best, even better than the $800 Arai or $400 Shoei I tried. Each head is different so you really have to try.

For $200 I got the Striker Blaze Grey which is perfect match for my X1R 135.

Helmet feels very solid and quiet, and pretty cool.

As far as I am concerned a $200 helmet with DOT, Snell AND the PSB sticker that feels this good is almost too good to be true!

 

Of course, the fact that Rjays is such an unknown brand I think is the key to keeping it cheap for now!

I retired 2 of my Arai FF recently (after 5 years) , and never regret getting the Striker. Once a while I will use my Spare Arai (3yrs) when I wash the inner cushions of my RJay, somehow I feel that Arai isnt that comfy anymore.:cool:

i just got a RJAY striker plain.. and i used to have a GP1 plain..

 

ok here's my review of both helmet

 

stats

striker = size XL, MATT BLACK, Bought on 31/DECEMBER/2007

GP1 = size L, MATT BLACK, Bought sometime near 06/OCTOBER/2007

i feel the same way as wildcard bro, putting it on is a major stuggle. maybe because it's L size.. (that's why i got XL for striker). good outlook overall but quite hot(maybe cause i'm a newbie to fullface and riding). always sweating when i finish riding.. even for a while. sometimes i wonder if the air vent is working.

it's really easy to slip it on.. i tried both L and XL size.. and both are actually easy to wear, not much of a difference actually. much much better than i expected. think i can even wear sunglasses with no problem! yet to try it while riding so that's all i have to say for now. but i really do look like an astronaut now...

i got the plain black striker. been using it for the past a week. The cushions are thick and comfortable, almost can sleep when u wear it. Haha. And it cancels out the noise very well. I think its alittle on the heavy side though. And its quite big for me, i look like astronaut lidat. Haha.

 

 

Overall, i have no regrets getting my striker. Its a good FF helmet!:thumb:

I have a rjay mesh jacket for a long time and now the soft armour had breakdown into many some pieces.

 

What the cost of replacement? Mesh jacket is more then 5 year old and is still in good shape except for the soft armour.

 

Is it better to get CE approve armour and what is it cost?

guys, its much much easier to get a better price at LAB.. i bought for my gf a striker for $175 at LAB, even tho LAB doesnt sell the design i wanted (pink), so his guy brought me to Regina, with a "fake receipt with fake price"... hahah if u guys noe wat i mean... jus to keep peace between the soarthroat brothers

striker with any kind of design sell at the same price.. plaiin ones of cus cheaper.. only where u bought it & wether u bargain or not..

& LAB doesnt hav all designs.. they only hav abt 4 designs if nt mistaken. :thumb:
