Saw a phantom on the first lane along PIE eastbound.

LOL let me think: he was going at about 80 to 90km/h on the first lane, clogging up all the impatient cars. Ha took him quite a while for him to realize before filtering to the second lane.

hmmm... any chance that this post is about... yourself...? :cheeky:

I was behind those impatient cars; wondering what on earth is that guy doing?

Saw a policecar and a bike on the exit to KPE along Nicoll Highway.

Bike on the ground, helmet, stuff, box scattered everywhere.

Don't think there is major injury cos no ambulance. Hmmmm~

eh....the kup was riding on a straight road or a turn? wondering cause quite hard to skid if u are on a straight road right?

or i am wrong?

it was raining heavily last night... so straight or not it didn't matter... the narrow tyres used by kups would have very little grip and their braking distance is insanely long...

i see...so i guess one of the benefit of riding a phantom would be the wider tyres for more grips but my braking distance is also super long in the rain also :(

chances to skid on straight road is lesser than curve... It is possible to skid due to either the bike or road condition or the rider himself, even on straight roads... i experienced skidding on straight road but not on curves yet(heng arh)... mainly due to wet surface road, braking techniques and tyre...

saw myself got owned..

last evening @ along ECP, before ERP gantry towards Rochor exit....

Which mks me to remind myself everytime when bypassing that gantry, cannot take any chance, must insert cashcard...

luckily was in outer most left lane, managed to halt @ the shoulder admist uber heavy rain & traffic, but just 10-15m to the gantry, just to reach my cashcard & insert into the IU..

nope, would rather say Im stupid.

shldve rode thru, cos the penalty is just $10+/-.

so nw, if the cameras has a gd peekture of me & my bike, it's gona cost me more than the sacrificial $0.75~$1, + it'll come with demerit points i think.. :slapforehead:

drove past a gantry before, letter came 2 weeks later from LTA.

10 bucks + the ERP 50 cents. but if paid by giro or internet banking only 8 bucks. 2 dollar off made me felt better.

EMAS cam got 2 type, one is fixed angle cannot tilt cannot turn, that is for general POV, the other being the turnable and tiltable one for observing special interest areas, this 2 cams differ only that the motor housing for the 2nd cam is obvious to a naked eye....as for zooming function most or if not all are digitally enhanced except for the 2nd cam..
