Actually ar... When you buy EO , already should have free change, so might as well change spark also.. Since its free and all, and at the same time can get the mech to blow your air filter

Anyone keen to teach me how to change engine oil and plugs? I wanna learn how to DIY :/

plugs very easy one, just need your phantom toolbox. like changing lightbulb.

change engine oil slightly more challenging, you will need a box to drain the old engine fluid into and locate the drain screw.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

i tink dat stretching further will help me straighten my posture a little.. cux i tried reversing the risers (facing forwards), but its a tad too far.. quite tiring.. so i tot i might be able to use the stock risers, but wif a straighter bar.. thx for the info btw.. :) will go n check it out..

but any differences wif d handling wen using a straight bar? isit like heavier steering?

If you want to diy, its useful to learn how to change the plug. but as for engine oil, know how to top up can alr lah.

Used engine oil cannot anyhow dispose as it is a toxic pollutant. so even if you change the oil yourself, you still have to bring it to the shop for disposal, may as well change at the shop better.

den as for plugs, its useful if you ever get stranded on the road. But i am a lazy person, and prefer to just change a plug every 5000km, since a plug's pretty cheap.

Straight bar - I don't think there would be drastically different handling, as the centre of gravity of the rider is only shifted a few cm at most. Only the ergonomics matter. I also prefer a "streetfighter" type riding posture slightly leaned forward and currently ride with slightly bent arms (got windscreen to use. Like racing phantom :p) $30 for straight bar seems nice.

My back brakepump started to leak oil..need to replace the pump or can repair?

Definitely need to replace as soon as possible. Brake fluid is very corrosive.

I also thought of getting a straight bar but worried that leaning slightly more forward will make it less comfortable.

the slight lean is the best feel ever bro!!! i have ALWAYS been a fan of wide handlebars... but when i tried my fren's straight bar, i fell in love with it! then when i ride m other fren wide handlebar, i still love it! so now, i like both the styles very much! :)
