i would personally recommand pumping gd petrol for your new wave...........

Pumping V power , Mobil 98 or SPC 98 is gd enough..pickup is consistent and also would provide gd combustion for ur Bike :cheeky:

If you are riding second hand waVe or maybe millage more than 20k...perhaps ...regular maintenance will work better than a gd petrol............

Almost all kind of petrol are the saMe just that the better ones have went through more layers of filtration so is deem to Work better like PuRe Petrol in New engine.... :thumb:

hmm.. i don't think rpm will be affected..

choke is to fasten the warming up of engine, especially useful for cold, rainy mornings..

if u open choke and ride off, MOST likely, bike will die, becoz of engine overheat.

its the octane level like Shell 95 is same as 9500 @ Mobil or SPC95 juz remember the color codings..:cheer:

e.g octane 92 is 92% octane and 8% heptane...it doesn't determine how fast the petrol burns. So far i find caltex petrol burns the fastest...

Caltex Votex burns faaaaster as claimed by Zublin meaning the combustion rate f the petrol is faster but place importance on the a/f ratio as well as hw fast ur fuel flows, how much air ur air-intake system dat ur exhaust system repels the fumes,hw much sparkling from the plug all makes ur bike faster or slower,if either of the involving parties doesnt works hand in hand to make everything in order..2cts worth of theories..:cheer:

for example petrol station A and petrol station B...u compare both their octane 95 petrol...its similar in the sense of its molecular structure (95% octand 5% heptane) but Petrol station A's 95 might burn faster than petrol station B, sometimes is because of the different additives different petrol stations add in to their petrol

thanks for ur input guys.. really appreciate it..

anyway i had to rely on choke every morning to start the bike..

do u guys normally kick start or electric start in the morning?

I was using the electric starter to start every morning, but must hold the throttle awhile den let go and warm up abt a stick of cigarette time den go off...

As of my opinion i don't think CALTEX is the FASTEST burning petrol. Try SHELL then u can become SIAU because the petrol finish at super fast rate.

Don't believe me? Just try it. One FULL tank of SHELL. Then One FULL tank of CALTEX.

Then u know which one burns faster. FOr me Tried and tested already.

I NEVER use SHELL already anyway. :goodluck: in trying.

Answer : No, I don't pump at one company's petrol kiosk only.

i mean only go shell, or caltex, but no others????????????

Answer: For me I go MOBIL or ESSO because can get points using ONE card only with both company!

how do u all see their naming????????

like the cheapest for SPC is GLC 92

Answer: SPC GLC92? SPC does not have GLC92 but have ULG92! ULG92 represents the octane rating RON92 (Rating Octane Number 92)

but caltex is Vortex silver 95

Answer: Caltex Vortex Silver 95 is RON95 (Rating Octane Number 95).

what is all these numbers???

Answer: The answers r AS ABOVE.

or u pump the cheapest here, u also can pump the cheapest there????

Answer: Can, anything cheapest petrol also can as long as u DON pump in DIESEL. Bear in mind dat every brand octane although the cheapest have different burning rate and different performance though.

Lastly hope it help many cub riders with this kind of FAQ.
