Hi all, too many locations to choose from! Anyone owns a Suzuki Intruder VL125 here? I would like recommendations for a good tuning shop. Also considering getting affordable saddle bags / boxes. Thanks!

You could consider RS Bike Centre located at Blk 1063 #01-192 Eunos Avenue 4 S(409801) Tel: 6747 8202. Rosli is a very adequate mechanic in my opinion, but most importantly, he charges his price very reasonably. Probably, my only complain would be his busy schedule as the shop does gets a fair number of customers.

However, if you were looking for a faster service, my recommendation would be Combine Motor located at 176, Sin Ming Drive, #02-22. The shop has 3 mechanics, so you would not be stranded for too long before your bike is fully serviced. This is also the very shop that services the Harley Davidson bikes for Sunhog. My positive review would be their bike cleaning after job service. Price wise is reasonable too.

If you are looking for some low quality saddlebags or fabricated cruiser side pannier, they are easily available at Lab, Regina and Aunt over at Kelantan Lane, but I would suggest giving Aunt a miss due to her bad attitude and service. Lab and Regina would be a better choice.

For better quality saddlebags and fabricated side pannier, you could drop by Loois and Motorworld and take a look at their ranges.

Try 127 Jalan Besar again. If they don't have, try Mah Motorparts. Look for Jeffrey Mah at 19, Jalan Besar Singapore 208792 Tel: 62944048, 62933841. He might be able to help you sourcing for the air filter.

Try Motorworld, I got mine fits up previously at $120. Regarding your bullet shape fog lamp, I have never come across this design in Singapore or Malaysia. Perhaps you should try getting it from ebay instead.

wow that's very nice helmet. btw does it psb approved? and does the visor has clear version? thanks

Definitely not PSB approved and you would never find these type of helmet design approved in the market. The helmet is ECE 22-05 standard in accordance with the rules is ECE 22 regulation of EU (European Union).

From what I have gathered, the visor only comes in tinited version.

Really up to oneself and individual opinion on the likes and dislikes. I do came across bikers using the momo helmet (similar design) on Scooter, Harley Davidson etc.

By the way, just for information purposes, the shell is of ATR - Advanced Thermo Resin and Comfort Padding is soft anti-sweat fabric, fully removable and washable inner linning (also the Chin-strap). Sizes are available from XS-XXL.

Hi everyone,

Firstly, Nights, you helped a great deal. I recently purchased a Shadow ACE 400 after regretfully selling my previous one in 2000. I was looking for a resource for doing up my recent purchase and came across this forum. It was exaclt what i was looking for. Thanks a bunch!

Next, as my bike is almost 8 years old, albiet it be in excellent condition, there are somethings i would need to touch up on.

Can someone suggest a one stop shop i can go to replace some rusted bolts, buy a flat foot rest for the rider and a back rest for the pillion? I am looking to buy and have them install them for me too. I am looking also to service my bike, eg. change engine oil, spark plugs, etc.

Any help will be very appreciated.

Cheers!

If you don’t mind giving a long wait, I would recommend the shop above. Otherwise, you could try the below shop. Either shop would not have the floorboard or backrest readily as the items would need to be order or purchase elsewhere which would take time. As for your remaining requests, it won’t be much of a problem.

Hodaka Motoworld Pte Ltd

10 Kaki Bukit Road 1, #01-08. Tel: 6844 0792

PS: If you are looking for a cheaper option and not mindful with the quality of service and work, you could go to Lab or Regina at 23 Kelantan Lane #01-03 Tel: 62967914, 62968035.
