just wondering ...

anyone of the phantom riders here got knocked by another rider at AYE yesterday (22 oct 2009) ?

hi all. just now when i reached my car park, engage to neutral everything seems fine. then i feel something not right. so i try to engage to gear 1 but it become difficult to engage to gear 1 i was trying there for like 5 mins. sometimes can sometimes cannot. like just cannot kick down to gear 1 like that. normally just kick down 1 time can go liao. now like got difficulty like that. like the gear very deep down like that. anyone knows or encounter such problem before? any solutions? also while riding, I've been hearing 'ting ting ting' sound from my bike initially i thought was my key but confirmed it is not. any one knows if the sound is harmful? thanks in advance man.

try not to clutch in so much, i.e. half clutch to change gear from neutral to first...

 

as for the ting ting ting sound... there are just too many possibilities... try let ah chong hear it :cheers:

i sometimes also used to have this problem..

i let go ABIT clutch den throttle abit..

clutch in den change gear.. usually it works..

but always good to check with the mechanics for bigger probs if any.

like Vidak said.. check for clutch cable... other than that.. my phantom had issue on gear shaft.. ask Ah Chong.. he can advice you best :p

nowadays, i rather, mount on my steed & ride away, or,

simply @ the kopitiams, wif a cuppa on the toh teng & nua...

somemore, my ankle, backbone & unable-to-dong the night ish mking me to go to bed early & waking up early to smell the flowers & watch sunrise...

feels like an ol' man in this nt-so-young body...

so, can stil qualify? :o

I agree with you too. Riding slow and relax on a slow bike is nice.

But those freaking drivers or road users just didn't give us a chance.

 

Anyway, I still not comfortable to ride in s straight posture leh. Probably my backbone curve leow.

 

Come come... we'll relax at park, drink, smoke and watch the world go by.

woke up early this morning and went to meet up the rest of the riders at pasir ris for the gymkhana course organized courteously by scubasimon, some of you have met him at the diy oiler clinic event.

 

woohoo, damn fun negotiating those tight and twisting bends and trying not to hit any cones down. intrepid was there too and also met up with sherman and his sleek new yamaha R15. will be probably organizing another gymkhana soon i think. you guys shoud try it out! really put your bike handling skills to the test! :angel:
