kecoh ah genggg. u noe what they say. if ur confident GO. if u teragak2. slow down or stop. cos ur bound for an accident. thats what the old folks say. i always apply that when it comes to squeezing in btw traffic. life is spared. bike can be repaired.

yeah man, i guess when riding, we do need that kind of gut for that kind of situation..

Hmm, the rear brakes seems to be more responsive and the brakes feel more stiffer. I dont really know how to put it in words but its recommended to go for steel braided hoses.

I second with what thrasher mentioned, dont use cheapo steel brake hoses like the what knots "GPR'" brake hoses and other fake products. Investing more in safety features will help save your life. =)

changed to HEL lines already.. yeap much more effective and damn strong BUT the rear still no feel.. the mech told me that its the brake pump that's causing all the probs.. haiz..

so guys, to those who has used racing footrest, mine is Yamaha btw.. do you think its the brake pump or the callipers?

but one thing u must consider, the conversion to racing footrest from standard, will somehow decrease your rear brake braking power. i dunno why but it seems to be the case for most

I'm using Yamaha racing footrest also but i dont seem to have any of the problems plus i'm using the racing boy calipers and brake pumps which alot of people condem.

My rear brake has no problems, in fact its too makan. Hold the rear brakes for awhile and harder by abit my spark will transform to super motard. Haha.

I think get your brake pump checked first. Sometimes during bleeding, the brake pump might jam due to some internal parts loosening. It happens when the mech use to much strength to remove the brake pump. Happened to my racing boy brake pump. Something got stucked while i bleed my rear brakes when changing to HEL.

You can try putting your bike on mainstand the testing the rear brake using your hand to depress the brake pedal, see got like jam jam feeling anot. Like cannot fully depress, something got stuck like that. Not to sure on that too..

from my own experience. the rear disc conversion from racing boy uses large disc. thats why it super makan.. happened a few times to me, skidded when i use the rear brake. too strong. lucky i manage to control never makan depends on a few factors.

1. your brake hose is too long/not good(buy branded. quality comes with a price)

2. your brake pump not functioning properly

3. your mech never bleed your line properly.

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

Yeap, my HEL lines are too long, but am used to the braking system of my bike. But seriously the over makan brakes saved my life twice. Without the brakes i would have been in 2 head on collisions with taxis who dashed out from the carpark and an illgeal u-turn.

The technique to control fishtail is not to release your rear brake suddenly when in fishtail, it would cause the fishtail to worsen.

guys is aprillia caplier good? though of mounting onto my bike

Its good or else it wouldnt be on an aprillia. If you really want to feel the aprillia braking goodness, the best is to use the whole set which includes the brake pump, disc, and the 4 pot calipers. But thats going to cost. =)

LOL! Get the brake pumped checked first. My advise is go to a good shop in SG to get it done instead of keep going to JB and shop hop.

If all still dont work, i suggest you go get a rear brake kit of an R1 or R6? =)
