msg-ed the nite before n he referred me to another bro...

so i called the bro n he said its stil on n we shall meet e next morn..

morn come n i was early...waited a while no one came...the bro i contacted said he cldnt make it...called the organiser...no answer...waited for ard half n hr...n called again...no answer...well,enuf said...went home...disappointed...

so dats my trip...from home to changi pt n home again...

Whenever it is, let's all take a step back and try to undertsand what we are trying to do.

 

Just 2 cents' worth, let all the interested parties meet 1 day and plan the trip according. I still feel it's a bit tough to ride from 0700to 0100. Let's try to split it into 2 wkends to do so.

I would like to apologise in regards to the event's failure. Well, I had done my best to organise the meetup. It came very well response in the begining and turn up nothing in the end. members were inform a week before n there was no response. I had been updating in this thread but again, response. My team of organisors too, cant be involved due to participating in another outings. But, personally, I would like to apologise to Kings especially who had made his effort to come for this event. I should have called him in regards to the cancelation of the event. Well, i regret organising this event which led to a failure wherby the intentions were made right. I guess, I have to prodceed on my own. Sorry dude...

 

 

PS: Thanks to R1zuan for putting an extra link. Thankx for putting some petrol into the fire. Your effort is Greatly appreciated.

I think R1SZUAN didn't meant any harm. In fact, he was trying to help you Isk, in clearing the air, lest ppl think you're just taking them for a ride.

 

It could also be seen that you might have overlooked in updating this thread, thus R1SZUAN was just helping you out there.

 

I meant, least u could do, even if a mere thanks is too heavy, is just not to put that comment of him adding petrol to fire.

I been following this thread since the day it was created.

 

My respects for your intention (if it's really sincere).

 

Only thing is, I would'nt have the energy to follow through the plan, and when I looked at the timing you'd created, well it looks like there's some planning.

 

But I can't see a relevancy on the motive and the timings, cos they look darn short for anyone to even appreciate the mosque, let alone learn more about my religion.

 

I would say you've got people interested, and especially so to the non-Moslem riders, that was heart-warming.

 

But to do a no show because the excitement died down, and to give that reason when initially you said you gonna go through even if it meant going through it alone, was really uncalled for, if it's a 'nazar'.

 

You've said your apologies, I wouldnt have the right to take it for I wasn't here all along. Just particularly concerned if this might get out of hand for I am a fellow moslem rider too and this does reflect on me and the rest of the community as well.

 

My apologies if this post does cause some discomfort. Do tone down the kind of words u use in your postings (not only here but anywhere) cos sometimes, u might meant something but because of some errors in communicating, it meant something else.

I waited till 8pm(meeting time)...sms(which he didnt reply) and call(which he didnt answer)... Thanks Rudi for apologizing. Not taking sides or whatever, but i do understand how disappointed, maybe upset even, for those who really wanted to go. Your communication modes are abit off, i must say, that's why it can get quite frustrating or difficult for others to contact u.

 

I don't understand one thing tho. Once again, not taking sides, but somehow there seems to be some personal tension here. If someone really wish to berate another, pls do so in person or personally. This thread might turn out to be a flaming war, regardless who is in the right or wrong. Nobody likes to see any bickering or bitching around here. Morever, it does not take long for anyone to see who is the one feeling overly sore.
