Will the 08 Kawa Ninja 250R kick start the 2A Sport bike era??

The PGM4/TZRR 250 era is gone already.

Looks very nice, but by now the bikes are already approaching 10 years.

The Class 2A market saturated by in-line-4 nows, as pointed out by someone.

The kawa 250 side and top looks nice, but the front a bit weird. But the black colour version seems to look nicer. 2 bad there is no race replica paintwork. I suppose it looks like the rest of the ZX family.

I happen to flip thru a jap bike mag and saw this Kawasaki 400cc b8ike called ZRX400. Looks like Super4/XJR, only even more 'old-school'. Could be a hit with ah-pehs, given the more retro look.

Japanese styling is usually achieved with eye-catching graphics, the Italians achieve the effect through the form of the bike. but heh kawa did that too...

kawa's bikes have the least amount of graphics on their sportbikes..look at 600 and 1000cc sport bike....is the form of bike that attract us rather like yammy, hondas and susuki with tons of stickers on its body works...

ZRX400 -> 400cc liquid cooled inline 4. Similar to Super4

ZephyrX -> 400cc air cooled inline 4. Similar to XJR400R

I kinda like the ZephyrX. Too bad our local kawa agent didnt bring it in.

well, the trend is to go green now mah, so i think we're going to do away with the 2 strokers and welcome cleaner and more efficient engines. :smile: :smile:

lol i gotta agree on that.. compared to the old time 250s.. seems like the new ones cant realli make it.. haha.. i still prefer living in the PGMs, RS age..

er i have a question. is there something like ZXR200 or ZX-2R? I've seen it @ SG but the bike is MY Reg Plate.

Regardless the bike model/brand. No matter how good/fast the bike is. Without skills the bike is nothing.

Anyone knows if SG will be bringing this in? I'm definitely getting it if available cos it's better than buying old 2A sportbikes that have passed many hands, in my opinion.

130 rear section tyres....

boring...

oo, i feel that 250cc won't have much power to utilise fully such a wide tire? end up will lose power through the thick tires. like for my CBR150R, some dudes change to 110 from the stock 100. immediately they lose their top end and suffer worst fuel consumption. :faint: :faint:

Too thin. They should use a 150 or 160...
