btw, he not yet reply me exactly wat time he arriving in spore on this sat. Maybe he not sure also.

But i called the Norman guy in eunos, he say sample will come this saturday.

 

This sat, I'll be hanging around in Motorworld to fix my Super boldor windshield at about 11am +, then lunch nearby. Hopefully by then he is in spore. I plan to ask him to meet me at Norman's shop in eunos first thing.

WS bike mr. Norman say the sample arrives at 1.30pm tomorrow. he doesn't know I hv arranged with Michael to meet at his eunos shop.

MC Accessories Michael say he arrives in reach spore 9.30-10.00 am.

So tentative timing to meet is 1.30pm at the WS Bikes shop in Eunos.

Those who are interested, please sms me b4 11am tomorrow. I will call u when Michael is at eunos.

abit late to post in MO thread.

for sure viewing sample is a must. Asking questions on the different models , 4-2-1 & 4-1, is a must.

If reach my target price, i'll just buy. Those who think price is still high, can decide to post in MO. Before posting, you can ask him personally if 10pcs or 20pcs how much? Face to face negotiation over a cup of coffee is best.

Today's meeting with MC Accessories Michael

 

Only manage to meet & talk with norman & michael at 2.30pm. Sample for vtec3 delayed. But they say a sample for a non vtec header is coming tomorrow. I told them since no sample, i told them we'll discuss the price next week. But privately i told michael this norman is a tough negotiator. I hv no confident he'll lower his price of S$700 per pcs.

 

Next i brought michael to Motorworld to see Kenji & james. Seems that MW kenji had met MC accessories' boss b4 long ago. I told kenji we have MO of 5 persons for stainless steel header. I ask him to speak to Michael privately and MW can offer me the best deal later. But kenji say he will only give me the offer price after chinese new year, coz they closing for 1 week soon.

 

I also ask kenji, why not advise MC wat are the paper works needed that can make their full system street legal? Kenji say its difficult coz their no brand product must conform to european standards. I say their full system is currently exported to europe under "Street fighter" brand. if there is any problem with sound level, let Michael knows & he can ask his manufacturer to do something to his muffler or silencer (maybe pack more wool inside). The bottomline is his export price is dirt cheap & many ppl who cannot afford yoshi full sys might become interested. (his titanium full system is like US$300+ for export price)

 

After that it was almost 5pm. I told him he shld hv come spore earlier, i can bring him to HKL or Chong Aik or Loois motor or Mah motor - these big companies might be interested to buy a container of mixed stuffs from his company. Small company like WS bike in eunos dun hv d financial power to buy so much.

 

I told him i want to intro him to HKL 's jacky chan & tell him about the MO. I told him HKL policy is to sell cheaper & faster. So if i bring him to see HKL for our MO, good chance HKL can offer us cheapest & meet our target price.

 

i told him as soon as one MO is successful, HKL or MW may order more pieces on their own, coz they hv seen the quality & workmanship. This makes michael more eager to go HKL.

 

But he say he ran out of time & has to meet a fren later; he will return again soon after chinese new year.

 

I told him next time before coming, check the LTA website on the paperworks requirement for legalising a full sys. Then bring down a titanium full system or something, i'll bring him personally to LTA to do the paper work. I told him a 2nd hand yoshi full system is about 1K & brand new is S$1.6k. He told me his price of a titanium full system is still cheaper than a 2nd hand yoshi full system (buying 1 pcs). i offered him to use my bike as guinea pig for his full system & will perform a dynotest & then announce in SBF how good the horsepower shot up. He seem very happy to hear this.

 

It was a very interesting conversation and he has now better understanding on how to launch /promote his products in spore.

if not then i think pay $250 go sengkwang make the header into 4-1 system is easier way. if pay a bit more for the stainless steel header then i wont mind, but that is a 'bit more' only hahha

Anyone encounter Header rusty problems?

MY header got rusty, and there are tiny holes at the tip of the headers. Any one encountered this problem B4? where to get it fixed up?

for new ppl who happens to pop into this thread & dunno the latest status, i am trying to get MO for stainless steel headers for S4. i hv brought the below company salesman (Michael) to Motorworld already. Let's hope MW will give us a good offer
