Damn jb bikeshops!!!

 

I wanted to change my clutch plates so i went to AGL. Went past the area and decided to ask the indian shop after the mobil petrol kiosk...

 

Having never change my clutch plates b4, i tot it was quite cheap when the mechanic said "satu-empat" (one-four), thinking it was RM14. I had asked a shop in spore and they quoted $15.

 

So i said ok, go ahead. Apparently the clutch plates were a 'Racing' brand and had some japanese words on it (yellow background, anyone seen or bought this b4?). I presume its from Japan. He also changed the springs at the clutch (i dunno what its for.. he said this is the 'racing' version, so good pickup; RM20)

 

Everything finish, I wanted to pay. He said "satu-enam" including the springs. I was quite surprised... RM16???

 

NO!!!!! RM160!!!!!I was very, very shocked!!!

 

I wanted to chao, cannot.. he had a hammer in his hand. Luckily, I had some money with me. I bargain until RM140.

 

But still, RM140 for clutch plates??? WTF???

 

When I asked another shop later, they said one piece of original Thailand plate is RM18. So at most 6 plates cost around RM100. This shop also said that there is no such thing as 'Racing' clutch plates, all these made in China.

 

Damn sian, damn pissed off. These pple see sg bike, die-die mus chop...

I just find the price rediculous.. if he had clearly said 160 ringgit i would definitely left. Why must say "satu-enam"? To sound cool? ######!!

 

This price can get a pair of TT900 tyres...

 

I didnt survey cos i was jus looking for an empty shop as i don't like waiting for my turn.. And also i have this idea that busy shops tend to be careless in servicing,etc..

 

Thus i paid a heavy price...
