Hey there my daystar riders.

Wanna ask if it is possible to change our bike handlebar to either phantom or other kind cause mine is "senget" though. Change the original bar cost a mere $100.

Also isit possible to change the signal like to super4 lights??

Do you Daystar Riders happen to plan for any road trip? Like going to Malacca or KL? I just wanna know about the common problems I'd probably gonna face because I am thinking of joining my friends(all are Vespa Riders) for a road trip using a Daystar.

Haven't try before by riding 125cc to KL or Malacca! Damn worry about my engine can't endure that far... :angel:

I believe Nights rode to Thailand on his Daystar before. Maybe can ask him for advise. Actually, a lot of small bikes rode to Thailand before. Recently a B-bone also did. I guess take your time, don't rush and treat it like a normal ride in Singapore. Just that it's 888km away. No need to whack engine and all. After all, how fast you wanna go on a 2B bike. Everything should be fine if you've been maintaining your engine and your bike. Do pre-riding checks and maintenance and ensure brakes, oils etc all are in good working condition. Should be no problem one la. Kup kia wanna go also can ;)

If I'm not wrong, can change the handlebar. I didn't use the stock one last time when I rode the Daystar, because it bends back to much, so I changed it to a straighter one. I think pretty much Phantom kind.

 

For signal lights, if you wanna change to S4 type, you might need to change the bar across holding the signal lights cause the S4 signal lights might not fit in.

anyone know what's the problem when up to 4th gear and it just losing power maintain on the range of 70-80km/h !!! does it due to calbrator issue? :?

Was running down sembawang park, go jetty after my dinner..smooth ride from admiralty west straight to park...watch pple do fishing...my max is 7000 rpm...though I don't know how this will impact the engine run in...I am also observing my fuel consumption...fast burner on vpower...I may try 98 or go JB pump next time since I stay near....lolz...

 

I've counted, there are hundred of phantoms & possibly more in this forum...was thinking how big is the daystar warrior group...pls fall in....

Experience daystar riders out there... sorry but I've got lots and lots of questions...

 

As u guys know, the sound of our bike can be mod into a sound similar to Harley Davidson.

 

But by doing so... is it illegal? if its illegal, will the TPs aim us only becos of our sounds?
