thought the modding of the pipe to be louder is illegal?

the mod for faster can be done any one of the CKA outlet. but i forget how much less then $200 for sure.

actually taking out the silencer can be DIY-ed, i did mine myself. it's not that tough. there are 3 rivet screws at the end of the exhaust. just use a powerful drill to drill the rivet, den use a plyer to pull the silencer out. if u wana make it even louder, must go to the bikeshop where they cut open the exhaust to remove another metal plate that is inside the exhaust and weld it back i suppose. the silencer looks like this. As for the speed, actually i dont feel much of a difference, but the sound is quite loud as compared to the original one. For inspection, i intend to just slot the silencer back, but not screwing cos the inspection centre is just near my house =)

how did that happen? dude sorry to hear that man. hope ur bike is fitted with crashbars, they really help prevent damage to the bike

not sure what tips we can give here. mebbe just head to an big empty carpark and practise riding and turnin at low speeds until u get the hang of the bike. most cruisers are pretty heavy n hard to control at low speeds, guess more experience is what u need dude. for me i found out that shiftin my weight instead of just steerin with my arms helps.

good luck!

oh man. 3 times. were u injured? eh... expressway bends can go @ 100 (ofcos, far distance from the vehicle in front, hoping he doesnt brake suddenly). hehe.

1) right angled turn and filter lane. i always stick to about 30+...

2)chopper bikes have WIDE turning. so i usually use gear 1 or 2 for U-turn.

3)Maybe my bike's pickup is slow...i have to change my gear to 3 asap after traffic light turns green if not car behind me will horn.. what else u needa know?

although still shiny, i think the colour is a little bit off, but still look okay on the whole. duno how to describe further... shall take pic asap. gimme comments. LOL

sufian, more on cosmetic i guess..

wah three times fall down.

change ur handle bar lo. im using kinda high handle bar so controlling is so much easier.

anyway dun use ur hands to turn the handle bar when cornering. use ur legs. grip the fuel tank and shift the weight. learnt it at BBDC during DRC course.

mondst3r: the politically correct answer would be to call the police and follow the suspect until the police shows up, take a photo if u can with ur hp. the more immediately satisfying answer shouldn't be said lah yea?

kobesingh: heh there's a whole lot u can do i suppose. after seeing Red.Sky's bike i feel like changing the headlamp, using smaller speedometers and tachometers, wrapping up the seat in red and black leather with some stitching too, n fixin the signal lights to the handlebars a la harley, change the taillight and licence plate to a tombstone or iron cross set up and so on. from what i hear from other daystar owners, the daystar is one bike u can really mod :) u can check out hotbike or bagger magazines for more customisin ideas :)

kakarow: yeah u can try changin ur bars to the dragstyle ones. when i changed it i felt alot more secure, especially at the turns :thumb:

ahweebbq: thanks for the tip on the exhaust, i just did mine today. sounds a whole lot more throaty man, n the pickup slightly better too. cheers!
