i think it'll come to the time that the petrol price in singapore rise so high that even bikes are going to be restricted to the 3/4 tank full rule ... cos i dun think Singapore can stand if every bikers would to jam the custom every evening to go over for the petrol and let MY earn more money ... :giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

hmm, depends on how jia lak the situation, but wat abt bikes without fuel indicator?? tio saman straight? :giddy:

:thumb: Simple:

Step 1 : Go GP top up full tank

Step 2 : Come back to home - 23km

Step 3 : Go upstairs and take down the fish hand pump

Step 4 : Go down and open the fuel cap for bike and car also

Step 5 : Press the knob on the pump and wahla the fuel free fuel into a 4 litre can

Step 6 : Pour into the car tank using a funnel

Step 7 : Repeat Step 5 for 4 times (making a total transfer of 20 litres):thumb:

That leaves a balance of about 6 litres of fuel X 17 km = 102 km

Since you already travel 23km and require fuel for another 23 km to go top up again, that makes 46 km and hence you have around 50 km to move around sgp.:cheer: :cheer:

hehe gd idea..ehh can i transfer straight from the bike to the car?? any danger?? very tempting seh somore i stay woodlands.18km to n fro..

They drain all your petrol into a container to measure and then when satisfied, they pour back into your tank :weep:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

As much as we all fear, no half tank rule would be applied IMO.

If the govt wanna do it, it's the full tank rule. open tank cap and be able to see fuel...

haha poOr singaporeans..who i pity most are those new car buyers, rushing like MAD to buy new cars due to low interest rates, lower COE..signed their nice siggie on the contracts, happy happy wait for new car arrival only to found out that

1.petrol prices SHOOTS UP instead of the plunging COE prices..

2.privatised Mohammads & Fatimahs to issue illegal/steal chicken parking sessions.

3.ERP-gantry styled carparks = no more 'choot pattern' like switch on hazard lites oni to fake short parking timings..

4.new erp charging even on evenings on CTE & others..

We're all VICTIMS of the 'great conning project'.. :nono: :nono: :nono:

haha wad can & wad will they do for us then..??

hmmmz with petrol prices going up.. i think next year.. got a lot of pple will start selling off their cars.. .and change to bikes..

ppl will be forced to reconsider how much they really need their cars... and then perhaps 20% of those will change to riding bikes.. and then all go JB to pump petrol...

then JB customs will be confirmed jammed everynite... and ppl have to be prepared for 1-2hrs waiting in the queue just to get in...

as for me.. i will try to open a Ramly burger stall and bandung drink stall along the customs queue in JB... also open a COLD WET CLEAN TOWELS stall that can help ppl cool down in the queue... hahahah

with petrol prices as a big variable.. i think cars that have good fuel consumption performance will be the best sellers... will have a lot of nissan sunny push back to agents...

i pity those ppl who bought their car this year with $0 downpayment.. and base their budget on old ($1.4p/L) fuel prices... and now.. suddenly can't afford the petrol.. yet can't sell the car... lose too much money topping up outstanding loan amount...

its time for a change!

New attraction coming soon!

Our dear govt loves the word jams on our roads.

They might erect a ERP gantry at the checkpoints.. Then can ease the jams mah.. then we can swim over to msia..
