Those I mentioned are just possibilities. I dunno your age of bike, previous handling by prev owner (if its 2nd hand) etc. Injectors generally don't spoil that easily.

But if put into consideration of QC standards of 0.1% NC parts (well motorola is a 6 sigma company.. also got product NC), 1 is enough to be that 0.1% in a components manufactured worldwide in millions.

I am not zooming to injectors, just keep in mind there are possibilities in the 3 main contents that is required to promote combustion. Next will be those moving parts.

Seems like maybe i got myself tat 0.1%, tat's no way could a 6k km engine behave tat way.:(

in 2007, a few sg r6 encountered con rod jam. some during first run in, and some at about 2k mileage.

this happened in US too.

this defect was not covered under factory warranty.

so, any defect could happen at any time, any mileage. just that these surprises are not the exciting part of yamaha.

That's normal especially from heat..The sticker sort of burn slightly and warp from the ends..

it can result from fatigue near a physical defect in the rod, lubrication failure in a bearing due to faulty maintenance, or from failure of the rod bolts from a defect, improper tightening, or re-use of already used (stressed) bolts where not recommended.
