Everyone care to share wether using tankbra advantage/disadvantage are?

-?

-?

-?

-?

-?

Well, a personal opinion after using the following on 3 different bikes :

- full tank bra

- 1/2 bra (I call it "halte neck")

- bra-less :cheeky:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The pros I perceive are:-

1. Padded knee area = more comfort

2. Covers whole tank = lesser prone to vandalism, can put dog on it (not me..my fren always do it)

3. Covers up dents or scratches

4. Protect on slight/low speed spills

5. Beautifies the tank (personally I don't like the most beautiful part of a bike to be covered though...)

5. Secure strapping of tank bags (bagster)

Cons also have :

1. Steal the look away from my bike.

2. Very troublesome to remove.

3. Need to be removed often to wash (The 7 year old OEM R1 I rode had 4 longs of scratches exactly along the stiches)

4. Scratched my beautiful tank if not frequently cleaned.

5. Traps dirt & dust within 2 weeks. Maybe because I work in tuas.

6. 2 tone paintwork after 3~4 years parked in the sun. End up nobody have to cover up & sell the bike.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from the above, more can be found here http://ar2performance.com/faq/faq.htm

End of the day, the bra has it purpose to a certain level & care must be taken with frequency. Wear a bra or go naked... to-each-his-own.

Thank You.

Bro error 59 is TPS error. Go HL for a check and replace TPS.

Mine at time throttle no fuel feeling and it happen at BMW at PG -_-"

Before you ride best you throttle a few times den ride off and when riding try to turn throttle more and not jus turn slightly only, once it detect really too minimal movement of the throttle, the error will come out.

tks bro for d ans...

tps is d valve dat attach to d midpipe rite?

if it is, i din use dat valve at all...

i open it...

n it still tps error...

hmm...

No Bro, TPS is your throttle not the valve at your mid pipe.

At mid pipe that is your EXE-UP Valve.

thks for sharing ur advices... the only part which attracts me is the comfortabilty, of the knees grip on the padded bra of the side tank.
