First thing first, change the EO straight after taking out from the shop.

1st thing u do.....ride the r6 for 5 mins .....then go to any of ur suzuki friends and tell them SUZUKI SUCKS

My riding style is every 3k rpm change gear. When im at 6th gear, im at 48km/hr. den from there slowly increase speed till 100km/hr. max 110km/hr.

 

2002 Carb R6 is 22.8km/l :)

2006 EFI R6 is 18.6km/l :(

 

 

wow , 3k rpm onli ? i think if i ride like tt my bike hot like hell...mim 6k rpm for first 2 gear, after tt sure drag n let my high rev baby enjoy. :D

no offense dude...but buying a bike which redlines at 16k rpm, and only using 3k rpm to upshift doesnt do justice.....

 

rev it up dude...7k 8k 9k 10k and feel the rush.

Dude, the EO has been in the engine when the bike's completed assembly in Japan. How long it took to reach our shores I do not know.

 

But when I changed my EO less than 3km after taking out from shop, the EO's like diluted and dirty man.... You sure you want to run the next few thousand kms using that kind of EO?

actually Castrol R4 is good engine oil. overall running temp goes down by an average of 2 degrees.

 

its cheaper than other popular brands too.

Basically i change my EO after 50KM for the oem engine oil as once you start riding, al the debris will be in the eo which is from the new pistions.

Change immediately man... And change your oil filter at it too. Don't ride happy happy forget to change.

Oil filter use back original. EO i use Conoco. $6 bucks a bottle. There's an owner's manual that comes with the bike.

 

Be sure to read it. It will says for the first 1000km, no prolonged operation above 8300rpm. So make sure you ride and drag every gears not exceeding the stated rpm. Also try not to ride with constant rpm on a particular gear esp on highways. And as for the EO change, I'm more fussy as I change my EO every 300km. Run in stage, VERY important! How you run in will depends on how your bike will perform and last. :cheeky:
