hey guys im riding a r603 model..

 

-im having a problem of the fuel getting cut off and on back if i open the throttle fast..

- on 2 occasions the engine got cut off, i stop by the side off then on back the ignition and the bike goes off as per normal..

 

need help on what seems to be causing the problem for the experienced riders here..

oh ya btw can d shift light on the r603 be adjusted?hw do i do it?

sounds like a TPS prob.. do a search in sbf.. thr's actually a method on how to clean it..

In terms of performance there is some difference for a full system. i not sure if having the t-tuner installed is good "enough" for you. the workmanship of the removing of cat box must be very good and calculated in precise to avoid any leakage of air escaping. is kinda hard to tune the bike even with a PCIII.

 

but installer a t-tuner dosent change the header size in diameter and length. depending on the full system of different brands, the header is kinda different in terms of diameter and design of the header.

 

t-tuner is onli a replacement of the cat box. the design of the stock header might not bring out the full potential of the selected muffler (end can).

 

a full system is design to suit the muffler and R&D takes into consideration of from the header gasket all they way to the end of the muffler. that is why different brands of full system have different header diameter and travel, and the shape and length of the muffler is also different.

 

instead of using the t-tuner, another alternative method is to get a r6 05 header and collector fitted with a r6 muffler. the only thing u need to do is a 2 to 1.8 conversion at the header.

Once..I got scared by this TPS prob thingy on my way to PG..

 

Imagine riding on the PG highway with my group of frens a few hundred metres away and suddenly my throttle didn't work!!

 

I open the throttle..I only hear the troob trob trob sound..bike got no power..

 

I stopped by the side road..about to panic already when I realized I accidentally pressed the emergency cut off switch..LoL!!

I'm spoilt between Racetec and Supercorsa..Racetec is cheap plus got freebies from HKL..Supercorsa additional $50 to $70 no freebies..

 

Been using Supercorsa from Day 1 I started tracking..love it so much, nvr give problems..nvr fail on me..I must have confidence in Racetec to perform better to jump ship..even thou I noe Racetec and Supercorsa come from the same parent company..

hmmm we hav 2 tps..1 cost abt 150..so depend on ur luck to change 1 or 2..lol..try bikewerks or bikelab lor...

Is that an aftermarket valving for the front fork? Joe of Sporting Motor, the guru of Ohlins Singapore discourages the modification of the R6 06/07/08 front fork..unless you change the whole fork or cartridge kit.

 

The stock ones are good enough according to him..Mind you, Ohlins have the valve kit, fork springs kit, cartridge kit, R&T kit, Superbike kit and of course the MotoGP kit which is out of our reach..

 

But again..if you have the moolah..and can have a good pair of hands to do it for you..why not??

I feel its a very good tyre so i just use it on the R6 since its pretty cheap and good. I installed the valve today. Well i think the job is not done well. Feel no rebound damping at all compared to the stock one. But looking at the valve itself is actually pretty good in design. I'm pretty technically inclined so i can tell. The stock rebound valve needle is actually a joke. Its like either a have or no damping. So tomorrow after my track session i will head to a shop i use for suspension since my 250 days.
