Have not tried other brand of tyre before on the R6. My 250 i tried quite a ew brands. Racetec front and rennsport rear. I feel its a very good tyre so i just use it on the R6 since its pretty cheap and good. I installed the valve today. Well i think the job is not done well. Feel no rebound damping at all compared to the stock one. But looking at the valve itself is actually pretty good in design. I'm pretty technically inclined so i can tell. The stock rebound valve needle is actually a joke. Its like either a have or no damping. So tomorrow after my track session i will head to a shop i use for suspension since my 250 days.

I just got home from my the workshop. Does not work is an understatment man. Its useless! Well i got the fork rectified already. Now the rebound damping is marvellous. i got to fit some stock valve parts to it in order to make it work. I'm going to look for the shop that sold me this thing and see what they have to say. Well for the compression damping part seems to be just fine. Did only about 5 rounds in track today and i stopped. Just cannot ride it in that kind of condition.

whr do u recommend for suspension work ? i wanna do up my suspension.. budget constrained though.. wat do u suggest i start wif ?

How about changing fork spring. Think bikelab does that for customer.

I feel the spring rate for the front is pretty much right. If u wanna do it cheaply try to revalve the stock piston valve. I highly recommand teck thye in braddel road. After today he would have a deeper understanding on the r6 06 and above fork. For the rear i really feel its crappy, U can ask David in teck thye if he can do anything about it. I ordered a after market shock already so i just need to wait.

Actually u can mess with the compression damping valve shim stack to make it less stiff. Just tell david your concerns .
