Hey spiderman im interested in the fast throttle but the retail price of it is over my budget.... btw witch one is u on the 12/12/08 pg track session?????

 

O what is your budget like? I'm the one that played 5 rounds on the first session and pit in all the way. blue with race fairing:cheeky:

Is anyone interested in using a fast throttle for our bike?

 

From YEC/GYTR?? Woah..their price is crazy man!! Last time I checked, $500 plus..unlike HRC fast throttle, I can get $180 thru my Japan contact..

 

But hor..our stock electronic(i think) throttle is very responsive already..

 

By the way how much and wat is the brand of the fast throttle u got lobang for?

i notice previous thread whereby you guys claim once u hit 6k rpm.. the footpeg area start to vibrate abit ... is that true??? cos mine also when i rev til 6k rpm... wonder is it normal or wat..

Not only footpeg..but the whole bike

 

I feel the vibrations from the frame area..transmit to the handle bars..but nw quite use to it already...

I got this lobang for fast throttle at 150bucks only! It only need to change the throttle piece,the one with the grip. Its the same as the active throttle diameter 44mm. Use back same housing. Cool anot? If anyone interested to get it pm me.

Hmm..what brand?? I find it abit expensive comparing to HRC $180 to $200 for the whole kit..(throttle pipe, housing, cables)

 

Anyway..if the throttle diameter is bigger..then the stock housing shouldn't fit. Rite??

 

How sure are you the aftermarket throttle diameter is bigger than stock?? Sekali same..how? Pengsan lei..

I'm not trying to pin-point the idea juz that the item is not meant or tested on a Yamaha R6..imagine goin in T2 PG or Last turn Sepang & the throttle fail to shut???????

Wat will u do???Spidey u race before..U don want ur machine to fail while ur goin Fast rite...???

 

Nonetheless its a great idea...but i really feel need to really look & TEST at it carefully....

Yup i know where u are coming from. I already have it in my hands. Will test it out tomorrow on the track. I will take a pic of the stock and the after market. To my experience it will not be of any danger.

Yup i fixed. Its the same material as the stock throttle from what i see. The best thing is that u will not need to buy another set of cables which other aftermarket ones need. Save a lot in a long run. Design looks pretty much the same as stock other than the diameter. So I dun expect it to be inferior to the stock one in any case. How does that sound man.

alright now for the fast throttle update. I did one session in the track and one of the lap is in the 1:48s. Nothing went wrong nor even feel abnormal. For those who saw me today should be able to vow for me that i was pushing the bike. My review of the throttle is that the power comes very strong and fast. U do not need to turn the throttle that much to achieve that power. Its much easier to accelerate for short distance like t3 to t4 and to t5. It sort of takes away the human power cut if u know what i mean.

did anyone order r6 09? n heard anything from outside bike shopabout collecting the bike? hongleong told me the bike arrive, but seem bikeshop haven recieve it.. its the norm?

 

 

btw how should i run in the bike, as in what EO to use ? for how much distance? n up to how much mileage is consider the run in..

 

where u guys intro for slider for our bike? motorworld (anyone know this adress too) or what other shop offer better price n how much is this cost for f3 slider set (front , fairing, rear)..

Ya actually its one sec faster than my previous fastest time. I got my bike on 24 oct so its almost 2 months. I'm quite happy with my improvment. The happiest thing is i dun need to touch the bike a lot. Not like my 250. Ya i saw u and decided to give chase when u least expected me. Haha, Lets plan more tracking in future. hey spiderman gd review of fast throttle but to bad the price not within my budget cos tinking of getting a gear indicator. mayb if i cancel my plan for the indicator i get back to ya. btw ups for ur timming.
