yeah,i heard of both hard and normal running in..

i'll most likely choose normal running in.. usually shops will juz say dun exceed certain speed for the first 1000km but my friends told me once a while u need to increase speed too.. i'm confused.. lol

bro minime, which method do u use? any advise?

I used the hard running in method. You need to vary the engine rpm. But not to redline it at the beginning. All engines are factory run-in in the beginning already. The engineers had to ensure the engines are all ok. So imagine how hard the engines are ran during the checks. During running-in the most important factor is how often you changed your engine oil. Imagine all the fine metal shavings that are circulating inside your engine. I changed mine within the next day. So it's like 100km, 500km, 1000km, 3000km every intervals. And depending how deep is your pockets. You might want to check with agent too on your warranty coverage. Some agents have strict guidelines for you to follow. Or else risk having your warranty void. These are just my suggestion. Do at your own risk. Cheers!

1. Spare licence plate holder with indicators

2. Mirrors

3. Front indicators

All original & in good condition as they were replaced with mods when the bike was completely brand new.

Somebody please come and take the lot for $100

stock bike is always set run lean coz fuel map by manufacturer to meet emission std.

lean engine runs hot, leaner hotter still.

richer air/fuel mix engine runs cooler.

install Power Commander V, remap fuel with stock exhaust, set it to run richer than stock.

engine will runs cooler n better power/torque/performance.

Agreed ... But as the heat goes down, FC tags along too ...

Guess we gotta give up something in return ...

But anyway, we bikers aren't too bothered by FCs rite?
