wat rim sizes u using ar stroker..?

i'm thinking of using 1.6 front and 1.85 rear.

would it be heavy..?

i wonder if the swingarm could accomadate such big rear..

as for tyres,. even racing team from JB using bt39ss 90/80 for front asnd rear for PG..

i personally think for kallang should use the same size..

better and more stable cornering. when u have stable cornering, u can take higher rolling speed into the turn and by thje time reach the apex, can blast out liao..

IMO 1.6 and 1.85 shrod with 90/80 F/R is good enough.... As you can see, the thais are only using 70/90 & 80/90. As Bryan said, I think too that 80/90F is a tad too narrow for PG. So I suppose 90/80 F/R works for PG. I'm using a much wider rear btw..

There's this Daichi Alloy (spelling??) that's not bad too. But it looks just like a Racing Boy. So no diff la. The rest ma... HmmMmmm.. Good luck. :cheeky:

Another alternative is spokes rim lor.. Just gotta be more delligent to make sure the spokes are always tightened. And of course, steer clear from nails, spikes or any ohter sharp objects that're lying on da road!

Cheers~!

DID or Excel spoke rims quite decent... But if you're more into pg, I'll suggest using sports rims instead. The Racing Boy 8-spoke ones. :thumb: The De Facto rims that're used in races, both Msia and Sgp.

Cheers!~

Bro, IMHO its a waste of time and effort to convert the rear to disc.. Especially if your doing a track-only cub. You dun need rear brakes at pg  bike's slow enuff to forsake rear brakes

And most import6antly, many times, the conversion just adds more problems then benefits.

no no..

me not doing track only cub..

occasionally track use with daily riding..

yes i know rear braking is near to non existence during tracks, its practical in daily use..

common problem i heard is that after installing the racing footrest, rear brake is virutally zero..

so i hope by converting, it will improving the rear brake system..
