Heard from friend that new bike must be under first party insur, cannot be under TPft, is this true?

Anyone under TPFT for Fazer 600? How much huh and whats your age?

Anyway, does fazer 600 has problematic error? E.g. S4 Vs rectified damaged easily, bout once a year, how about Fazer600? Any idea?

My 2 cents,

For new bikes, most shop would want you to get 1st party unless you can downpay a high amount. So it all depends on the loan.

They are afraid that if something happens to the bike and you can't afford to pay the repair, at least the insurance can cover.

You could get 1st party for the first 2 years than switch to 2nd party after that. When the loan is finish that switch to 3rd party. well, at least, that's my plans.. :)

yes, norman ang..... i sold my S4 in Oct 2002.

04fz6 many complaints ah........

pros: good fuel economy, low insurance, fully digital dashboard.

cons: poor acceleration, non adjustable suspension, small under storage compartment, hot pllion seat, small windshield, lousy stock tyres, poor front brake calipers & poor brake pads.

head light default is one side light up, can mod to 2 sides, but at ur own risk if battery drained.

Hi Pauche,

Seem like Fazer 600 pro stuff is budget in sense of money like insurance and fuel cheap cheap. But con seem like overall performance not so great except conering.

So you find that Fazer 1000 is better han 600?? In what sense is better? in term of pro and con between both bike?

If you wanna race with me,

you sure win cos i dont race, i ride

we are now back in Hatyai after coming back from Phuket yesterday. Today is Songkran Festival, everywhere u walk, sure get wet by people firing water gun and some by water pails. Come back then show u the photos.

underseat exhaust not hot if just local riding. but if going at high speed for long distance, can feel the heat cooking ur pillion's bum.

acceleration is poor, i may want to change sprocket to 48 or put an ignition advancer for better acceleration

for 04fz6, front suspension is totally not adjustable, unless u go change the fork spring and valves. rear suspension is preload adjustable only. Can set the rider sag, but cannot adjust the compression damping and rebound damping.

For tyre, u want grip, mileage will be lesser. If u want mileage, grip will be inferior. This is a Z-rated road tyre, hence its made to last for mileage up to at least 20+k. But be careful when u play corner! Check ur tyre pressure before any trip.

like i said, these my own opinions, and there may be many other 04Fz6 owners who agree or disagree with me.

And I have not ridden the 03Fz6 or Fzs1, hence I cannot compare or comment anything on those bikes.

Different pple have different expectations of their bikes, hence ask urself wat u need the bike for. For touring, local riding, for transport, for racing, etc.....
