america selling it at US$6990, should be around $14k SGD....but shouldnt outprice the R6...

hey..i saw tat one too! not bad looking also...if got fairing kit wit matching side boards even nicer!

 

went to bukit merah to survey fz6 08. was quote OTR 14K++. if want with the fairing add $500.

 

Now riding super4 vtecIII..thinking of trading in for fz6...if i change the pipe to aftermarket pipes..will my pillion feel the heat of the pipe since its no longer the original which has a heat resin cover?

 

how much can get to sell my bike FY plate?

 

i'm on a C.F Remus end-cans & Remus link=pipe.

i hate the stock cans to the core, try cleaning it & u'll koe.

another pt is: stock cans weight tons!!!! -.-

feedback form my pillions: onli 'warm' not hot, mayb mine's CF.

 

 

one is a pre-facelift model, one is a face-life model..

 

slight cosmetic improvements for S2..

like:- swingarm, windscreen.

S2 also comes with a naked version without the front fairing..

 

correct me if i'm wrong..

 

beside the comestic changes.

07 onwards had a sharper & lower front fairing.

better & improved brakes.

TPS solved.

better seat, i survied on the stock seat during my Genting trip.

similiar speedo as the FZ1. (no more baby-G speedo)

i am taking over a fz600 next week. Suppose mine is registered in 2007 feb. it should be S2 right? by the way the fuel tank is how many litres tank?

 

specs stated 19.4L (including 3.4L reserve)

i got 2 x H&B panniers, aftermarket pipes, stock mapping.

i'm getting close to 20km/l (80% highway, 110km/hr @ least)

nah... i think it'll cost 1-1.5k more than the FZ6S.

previously with us is CKC who's using the small Givi side panniers.

but his is those onli big enough for some raincoats & small stuff, not helmets!

u can normally see them on curisers.

when i went with him to Melaka last yr, he had to tighten his panniers using those nylon ropes. (just in case they open up during fast speed)

 

for the V35, i'd yet to seen them on SG roads.

but note: the rack look like **** w/o the panniers (IMO) & i THINK it'll onli fit with stock cans.

most of us are on H&B (best tat u go to Ah-Chan as he provides a betta after sales den 219), we tried >200km/hr with our panniers.

some even had 3 H&B!!!

 

1 more ad on the H&B junior, they have a rough surface.

easier to do 'touch-up' in case u had minor crash.

come & see for yrself during our LKS, u won't even notice the 'touch-up'.

Thks for the heads up bro. So far I've seen the V35 on an XJR1300 here. Looks nice with the panniers on but not sure when it's w/o.

 

I've no qualms abt the quality of H&B. Rock, solid. But I heard from some owners that for the same batch of panniers produced, the same key given can open all panniers of that batch.

 

Great. May join ur LKS session to find out more abt the panniers n also the bike.

my bike avg 270 reserve on but can travel bout 60km on reserve i tried... but only pump closing 18L

recently i know a friend that sold his FY plate to shop for $8.8k.. original condition..

 

based on a CB400

you can safely touch the warm aftermarket endcan like Scorpion without burning your hands..

a slight touch on the OEM exhaust will leave your skin red for days..

BUT!! the area i meant is the sleeve of the endcan!!! other areas maybe hot to touch too..

 

if you change to a aftermarket exhaust for FZ600.. your pillion iwll feel cooler.. as most aftermarket exhaust will not restrict too much exhaust flow, thus reducing the endcan temperature..

most OEM endcans restrict exhaust flow to pass emission and sound tests..

whereas aftermarket endcans have little or no restrictions to flow.. barely passing the legal limits for emission and sound..

needless to say, aftermarket endcans that are non street legal are not subjected by the emission and sound control laws and are strictly advised to be used on track only..

Hi, am currently using two givi V35 side boxes on my fazer 600 s2 model.

 

Seems ok lah, i can say if u take out the panniers, but i onli take it out wen go jb pump petrol, so not too bad ah. haha

 

Anyways, the new 09 model is sleek, yeah, reminds of the gsxr due to the headlights, & the front faring covers all the way to the belly pan area.

Anyways, quick question, for those that have bought new 1st hand fazer 600, can i know what do all do for your service @ 10K lets say..

 

Other than your normal E0, oil filter, spark plug, air filter..

 

Any other things that need to be fixed out?

think the older model looks nicer

 

I think in europe this model is called the XJ6 Diversion and comes with half fairing only, full fairing is optional extra.

Friend KPKB alot to me when washing bike.

 

Good news is that perhaps 09 fazer is gonna have a face lift the most? Just the change of colour schemes again.. Means bike price wont drop =P
