bro, i've tried my stock X1-R top speed onli 120km/h, how come like tat since it the same engine as spark135 which can reach 140km/h stock.pls advice. thxs

my stock sparks rx135 top 140km/hr but side by side other bike like superfour or R6 their meter onli 110 to 120km/hr..

 

so if side by side wif a R6 on their meter is about 110 - 120kmh whereas ur meter is at 140kmh rite.. den wat if on their meter is 130 - 140 kmh so wats on ur meter?? cos my meter cable spoilt lei... before i accident la..

what is so fun about trying top speed in singapore road? very dangerous with all the speed camera and so many car around.. Wanna try top speed maybe you can try to push your bike from 18th floor and you can hit a top speed of 200km/h if you are riding a cub.. dun need to open throttle or do any mod. With you sitting on top can increase more speed.

X-1 R top speed is 120kmh...130 if downslope. u guys might be wondering y X-1 R is a bit slower than spark 135 since they have similar engines. the reason is i have tested imy stock x-1 R out with my frens stock spark and the results are that X-1R speedo is always about 10kmh slower than spark.

 

when i ride at 80kmh, my fren has to ride 90kmh. i ride at 100kmh and he has to ride 110kmh. i ride 120 kmh he has to ride about 135kmh. i also tested it with another of my frens stock spark.so there u go. i guess x-1R speedo is almost the same as the bigger capacity bikes.

 

oh and x-1R dry weight is 8kg heavier than spark.

im 67kg, with kappa k26 box. everything else is stock. except for cosmetic accessories

its quite a terrible experience to cruise a cub on the expressway at speedometer speed of 100km/h.... basically the engine is roaring...

 

btw... i always have this feeling that my bike runs with lesser vibrations at 100km/h zhun zhun... compared to 90km/h...

 

just some observations... dun feel too bad if your X1-R seemingly runs slower... ergonomics plays a part..

chill la.. i am just joking and if ppl get insulted then forgive me..

 

anyway, i just got my spark 135. just to let u all neo last time i am riding wave. now i feel tat the speedo is faulty. when i travel on the normal road at me last time normal speed of 75km/h i get '90km/h' on my spark. now on the express way i ride '120km/h' but i feel that i am only riding 90km/h. even when i follow some car across the speed camera, my speed is '110km/h' but the camera did not flash. i keep feeling that the speedo is not showing the correct speed. some might say that small bike there is different but i seem to be fine with my last honda wave.

 

Is there anyway that i can tune back the speedo? pls advise

wad i can say is the cameras dun really work on bikes imo. i zoom pass the ecp and pie speed cam with 150km/h and it didnt flash. try alot of times liao..

any advice on increasing the top speed for my X1?

i used to ride x-1 before i changed to x-1R. wat i did to my previous bike was change the flood cap to spitfire.. than install broquet fuel charger. u can also try superione... works with me. im not tt good as in to explain the technical details on how and y it works...but it works. lol

 

and the top speed increase by 10km/h

Cubs are good in the sense to me that one dun really have to worry of the Tps and etc for Speeding..can i say that? correct me if i am wrong.

 

Currently with Cbr 400, going to change to sparks 135 liao...

 

to me, i dun like to go too fast...

 

on my Cbr , i seldom go till 100km/hr or more..coz i dun really can or lke to handle that kind of amount..Siong.....fall down... ka nar lan...(phobia ba)

ahwhahwa... i tried that too at the same speed cam. i guess tt cam only for show lar.. i did 145 and although the speedo is inaccurate, the speed limit for that road is 80kmph

change sprocket to 37 or 36

change denso idirum plug

 

the top maybe faster by 2-5km lol

if u really wanna go for top speed for a cub, jus think how fast u wanna go??

clear meter?? no point actually.. wat do u get in the end?? where do u wanna whack the bike??

 

anyway to reach 120km on ur cubs is already enuf mah..

changin sprockets mayb effective want more effect..

change carb, bigger header + follow thru to the end can, change CDI, racing block / piston, high speed cam... steady??

 

or might as well install NOS lo.. better still.. no need to mod... jus booze den the power will come..
