If you cant find a logical reason to upgrade to a bigger cc bike, than dont upgrade.

As for those who have or are owning a 1800cc cruiser, they have found a logical reason to own one..:D

If you really want to find out the real reason for having a bigger cc, ride up north more often, you will find your answers when you need to overtake.

If you find your 400cc suit you fine, stay with it and ride more worry less....

wanna ride with madness?

You don't want to drive a Rolls Royce, having to downshift 3 gears, revving the engine hard to overtake. You'd want effortless power on tap.

Yeah....!! Just imagine a biker with leather jacket, boots, sunglass with his shinning chopper bike, rev hard try to overtake a lorry....!! :dozed:

Want to know the reason? Get one to ride, you never look back...

I wonder why people want to buy bigger cruisers? I ride a steed 400 1997 it goes up to 145km/h the highest speed allowed in my country in 120km/h, I think that smaller cruisers maneuver better, better to handle and cheaper to maintain, I cant understand why people would buy 1800cc cruiser!? and I doubt that it is for speed because cruisers are not designed for speed. One more thing, I want to get a bigger cruiser and really really I cant find a logical reason for that!! but still I feel that I want one. Can you share your experiences!?

Where u from then?

:D...and if the lorry driver not happy about the overtaking and decide to tail your chopper, then you have no time to look back...then the answer will be very clear...:D

ok back to the original question ...

the reason is "chicks"

here is my personal experience ...

Honda CBX125 - 01 x Slut

Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 400 - 01 x Full time GF + 04 x Part time GF

Harley Davidson FatBoy - Pamela Anderson, Tyra Banks, Jessica Simpson, Lynsay Lohan, etc.

Yes ... chicks loves guys with big bikes ... it reflects the size of their "meat" ... and yes ... the "meat" grows everytime you upgrade the bike ...

PS: I have yet to get the H-D .... :faint:

I have been riding big bikes for years ...,so I hope I could contribute my 2 cents worth of thought. Listen, there is only one good reason, and it is ---- "V E R Y T H E S H I O K". well, stability of bike travelling at any speed, any weather condition, any pillion comes as some plus points. Cheers !!

Bikes are for Adults that take great responsibilities for road safety. If you are still a Kid, please consider driving a car and stay ahead of us.

Just like big car and big house.

Some things in life the bigger the more shiok.

No explanation required.

But in everything there is a limit.

Except the limit is certainly not 400cc......:p

Jay Leno had a good comparison...

"What woman really NEEDS a Prada handbag?"

Answer is of course - no-one needs a Prada handbag, just like no-one needs a plasma screen TV, or to fly Business Class, or to eat Kobe steak, or to pay for a country club membership - there is no logical reason for any of these. Personally I prefer the answer from my childhood when asked why I want to do something I don't need to do or ride a bike bigger than I need to carry 110 kgs - 'Because it's FUN'. :) :) :) Which is why my latest bike is 8.2L :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
