Is it possible to change the spring only?

I bought a farked up rear suspension in jb for RM100 a few months ago. Now everytime i go over uneven road surface can hear the 'thump' sound. I think the spring too soft already.

If possible to change the spring, how much wil it cost for a good one?

hi bro thrasher, may i ask wat is de model code of ur YSS? i juz got one, code is MO302-200T-01-85. Tink this suspension is longer than de stock ones causing both my wheels to be touchin de ground when on main stand. U face tis problem? Is urs height adjustable? Btw im ridin sparks135.

There's a lot of factors that come into play when u wanna choose your suspension. It's not only hard or soft, there's other stuff like rebound which is more important. So it's not right to say a hard suspension does this and a soft suspension does that.

People spend hours or days playing with their bike to get the right setting. Not easy. My suggestion is just to use whatever is comfortable for u unless u're going to the track. Then maybe u can revalve your stock forks and get another rear suspension.

To each is their own. It's not right to say someone's wrong in choosing what he wants for is bike, he has a different way of thinking from u. U might be wrong about something.

In the first place, i did not say anyone dat he's wrong in choosing wat he wants. I oso did not say im right n he's wrong. All i wanted is opinion n experience from bros here who had use tis suspension b4. Also due to insufficient knowledge abt tis brand of suspension, i wanted to cfm wif de bros here whether had i got de non-original ones cos there are such imitation in the market. Maybe u might wanna read my entry above again cos i really mean no such intention.

U can try Gazi as i use it for nearly 2years already as u can service it due to no gas or oil have spoil.so u would be wasting $ to cahnge a new one again.

Gazi is a cheaper knock off to YSS.

YSS is the better choice for quality. Whether u get the domestic or export models.

Gazi has been only in the martket for a few years while YSS has been around for a long time.
