Info for suspension:

1. Soft setting good for smooth riding. Won't get sore ass when going over normal uneven ground but don't try going over humps at high speed.

2. Hard setting good for cornering. But ass not so happy when riding for long distance. NEVER NEVER go over humps at high speed unless you are trying to claim your insurance.

3. How to check if your suspension spoil? Hold bike straight holding it at the rear. Using both hand, push the rear of the bike downwards with a jerk. If suspension rebound back up slowly, then your suspension is ok. If it jumps up immediately, then its time to spend more $$$ to change to new ones.

4. Gazi or YSS? Both works fine. YSS finishing looks better. Btw, YSS got different grade. Got cheap ones and expensive ones. Both Gazi and YSS are slightly longer than the original suspension, so after you change, both tyres will touch the floor when using main stand. Take care when parking cos sometimes it will topple if ground uneven.

5. The spring in a suspension cannot become soft. When suspension spoil, its usually the damper unit is leaking thrus making the whole suspension soft.

Hope this info can clear some smoke in the air. :thumb:

Price is one thing, good ones cost around $400 to $500 and is fully adjustable.

Another thing is the finishing, should come with all the attachments like the cannister brackets as a set.

My prob:

Recently got crash with my Spark135.. The front absorber was kinda shaky... Thus,i decided to ask some mechanic to look into the matter...Handle-bar auto-pilot-to-the-left if let go the handle bar..

Location site: W*** Y**

Told mechanic my story of what happended... Let him test ride my bike..Then he say... "Your wheel-bearing,fork-oil,need to replace new set of the front absorber(the-twin-metal-thingy) & oso check alignment...

Was quoted for $230 for the repair(including worksmanship)..

When i ask for 1st-hand fully-stock Spark135 front-absorber, was quoted $280

proceeded to U***** Motor after further thinking

Location site: U***** Motor

After doing my monthly servicing, went to ask a mechanic(Kelvin if im not wrong) about my prob.. He told that my wheel-bearing was "gone-case".. But then my cone-bearing still ok.. So i replace the wheel-bearing..

What he suggested was "U change your wheel-bearing 1st lh..See how..If still no effect,then go for pressing @ $60...

In my opinion:

- U***** is like helping & assisting in a way that is best for me..

- W*** Y** is kinda ex.. Dunno if i kenna chop..

Current bike condition:

- Feel tighter(like new front) with new set of wheel-bearing

- gonna still observe the situation

Summary:

- Anyone wants to comment?

- Pricing?

Are there any problem if suspension is installed upside down?

I have seen alot of kup installing suspension with the canister but upsidedown...

Cry every time I get on my motorcycle.

no problem except that water will kind of collect at the canister & suspension area which may wear out the rubber seal early.
