Chain Lube/Wax

Bros, can anyone tell me which of the brands of chain lube or wax is the best? i m using Maxima chain guard (lube), but it flings of quite badly.. everytime wash my spec 2 gilat gilat liao.. then kena.. thanx to all!

Hi there bro. Maxima is a Brand! The one u r using now is....U got to wipe it after u spray it. So it will not flings on to ur rim. I'm using that too. It will evenly spread on ur chain!

 

If u dnt want to wipe it (lazy) then buy the one saying Maxima Chain wax. It doesn't fling at all!!

both maxima chain guard n chain wax is good. chain wax is highly fling resistance. but of cos, spray too much oso will fling off abit... chain guard is thick n its better compared to thinner oil. n spraying handsomely will require wiping off after that...

 

one tip is after u ride the bike, spray it n leave it over night.... then morning ride that time, fling is almost minimum...

 

another brand i like is PJ1 blue label. thin oil n fling resistance. quite similar to maxima chain wax.

Using Chain wax, very little fling, happened because spray a bit too much and ride to JB immediately after spraying.

i heard of PJ 1 too.. but is tat wax or lube? cause i heard that lube is actually better than wax as wax does not penetrate... btw thankx bro Sabbaha.. think i noe wats my proplem le.. cause i spray alot then i nvr wipe.. haha.. dint noe must wipe.. thankx man!

soft 99 is the best.. u may buy at esso petrol kiosk. no matter wht lube u're spraying it will still dirty ur rim.. btw to clean ur rim doesn't take a hard time right..

This the best! PJ1 blue label clear type. Lube every 300 - 500km. Cheers!
