Yesterday, our beloved Mr Uncle Dennis a.k.a. Oldfart, a humble and young hearted man had passed on... @ Nusajaya Trail in the afternoon.

 

My deepest condolences to his son(scrambler rider) and his family.

May u rest in peace, Uncle Dennis.

the easiest person to talk to,

with a gung-ho attitude.

Always treasure the plentong rides with him.

Very inspiring to us considering his age.

The father and son combo also make me wish that i have that closeness with my future son.

I'm feeling very very emotional on his death. Why!? Just last week, 25th November, Sunday, I organised my Birthday Trail and he was there happily smiling at me upon my arrival at the entrance of the trail.

 

Can I say that My Birthday Trail made the last chance for most of us scrambler riders to meet him?

I guess so.

The strong 30 Trail Riders got to meet him at the start and along the routes.

Another 10 Track Riders who used to join my newbie trail before bump onto us and indirectly meet with him too at one of our resting point. In total, about 40 of us either met him for the last time.

 

Your last word to me after the trail, Uncle Dennis: "Bro Isk, want to go another round?" - he smiles

I rejected as I was too tired to continue the trail.

Your last words and your last comment in my thread made me become more emotional. I really miss you so much, Uncle Dennis (a.k.a. Oldfart)

rode with him back in 2006 at the eastern trail together with some other dirt bikers. could still remember giving him a hand kick starting his xr250 after i saw him trying to start his bike after it stalled.

 

he was a good man, and one all dirt bikers should respect. not because of his age, but because of his spirit.

yes the labbit trails.... amazes me how he never gives up during the wet season trails although he swam in the mud pools.

I sure want to be like him when i grow old. Still active and still showing the young uns they are not worthy. Salute to u man dennis (oldfart)
