Hey all. If engine oil used for 3500+ km. Will the bike feel sluggish ah. Been feeling it after abt 3000km. Was thinking if it is due to the two straight day that i left uncovered in the rain or because of the oil.

 

It depend on what brand u used, it vary from one to another...

I normally changed at 3500 - 5000 depend on budget, timing and the feeling of the bike...

Anyway it got nothing to do with the rain

Like most defects i found. Most of the time the issue is between the chair and the keyboard. Hahahaha...

 

 

Mersing trip is still ON. The place has been booked. Will meet up at Esso Woodlands at 7.30am. Move in via Woodlands CKpt. The issue now is that i not familiar with the new Causeway route. Mite have a bit of trouble getting to route 3. Other than that its just a leisure ride pass by kota tinggi and down to mersing.

 

The new route is a pretty winding one... just take note that the old checkpoint is now inoperational, so do not have to turn into the booth, just go past straight and after the two high bumps.. you will be "lead" by the winding route to the new checkpoint... (be careful, the route is very winding and it convex into the car lanes as well, so keep left at all time.

 

After passing the new checkpoint(remember to stamp your passport), you will again be "lead" by the winding route... until you see the exit which has sign post indicating going straight to KL/Melaka... so after exiting, keep left and see sign post that say turn left to Johor town, after that at the main junction, turn right and you will see the esso station liao.

 

My recommendation is for you guys to meet before the Sg custom and move off together becos after the Mlysia custom.. I think you may need markers to prevent those lost soul from travelling to KL/Melaka. I'm sure some of those who are going Mersing will know the new Mlysia custom route, ask them to lead the convoy to be safe.

Just get a GPR ghost. Install it. Send it to LTA for inspection. Be prepared to leave the bike for a day or so. IF u lucky jus 1hr plus.

I forgot to add that for the Woodland-JB checkpoint, once you exit the Mlysia new checkpoint(after the winding route) you will definitely pass by a Shell petrol Kiosk... so maybe that one can also be your meeting place before setting off to Mersing.

ps: we can always take the trip up to Segamat for the jumps as part of our GSR road trips. lol.

Motoworld strictly brings in their own product lines such as Yoshi and WR's. Thus far Yoshi no street legal on GSR400 but WR's still pending approval from LTA. So is GPR. GPR u gotta go to GPR asia to get them. No issues in having the exhaust. Just that u gotta have the certificate for the exhaust that says that the pipe is meant for GSR400. Then bring those specs/certificate to LTA for inspection and approval. That is all.

Although i am crazy enuff to jump and do crazy stunts. However they have weight limitations. So thats my handicap there. Can't go for this one. If u guys going. Take lotsa vids man. Gonna be awesome... HAHAHA..

 

Speaking bout stunts. Left a super4 with an irritating exhaust to smell my fumes as i wheelied away on my 2nd gear just now. At the same time flipping him off with the universal "peace" sign. He jus caught me at the wrong time. Was headed to the hospital.

hi all... yes its been a very long time... nwae, e pipe is not legal but ive been using it for 10 months now... even ride beside TP and ROV b4 and notink happen... they didnt even look at me... maybe bcoz it looks e same lyk standard from e outside or maybe they dun disturb 2A bike n above... nwae if any1 really intrested n dun care abt legal or not legal, come sms me and arrange for a meet up coz im lettin it go at half-price!!!!
