I'm looking to get the Full black in the middle, going to go shopping to see got any good deal, yen had been dropping, so should shop around for it.

hehe

Is it in the following colours?

http://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/gsr400/images/sty_ypa.jpghttp://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/gsr400/images/sty_yay.jpghttp://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/gsr400/images/sty_gul.jpg

If not, the there is a very high chance that it is a K8 model....stores clearing stocks hahaha.

Juz let it go...maybe not fated to be with the bike.

Do tell if these colours are available....coz last i heard all the K9 are for japanese market only. You can also check if its the older model by a sticker under the seat. K8, K7, K6 are old models.

Would love to see the new models hehehe.

Little did I think that my posting would invite so many flames? Anyway, as I already said earlier, I just share my own experience and not showing off here.

Of course I understand that rev the bike to high rpm in cold will harm the engine. This is basic thing abt engine. I also sayang my bike, just like all of you did here. I never said that rev the engine to red zone. My point is to rev and maintain the rpm below 4k to prevent the engine die off again. Those who encounter prob in cold start will understand what I mean.

Erm... I think I got myself a 125 CARB GeeSR and posted in the wrong thread! :slapforehead:

ok guys... guess i really have to make up my mind now... after change the spark plug yesterday.. when i reach home and off engine.. for bout 5 min... then i try to start again then the prob come but after 3 times it start... so i guess today i will make a trip to HKL again... and get my bike a whole check up i guess.. if the cost is too high then i will really have to change my bike! (anyone wanna be my guarantor??) haha...

but sumthing when amiss i guess.. after the change i feel the bike engine get louder... you guy hav this prob?? sound like the air filter had open up... u know wat i mean rite? but i open the bike and see the filter is there... but the sound is very loud now... sound like won won won.... at the right hand side there.... i think is the VALVE???? if like this then i guess getting another bike is possible already as i dun wish to fix the bike cos it cant make to my expectation of my riding style...

haiz.... later will report here after the check and will i still be the stealth rider or not...

so finally my bike future has been made.... feel very hard to let go... but it seem like the prob lies in the engine it self... the mech say it was the timing chain and the crobe cannot syn the timing... so wanna operate it... but i decide not to do it as i decide to change already today! and thanks for all the GSR who really care bout this.. but now i already sell off my ride... 2moro going to the shop with the bike and kiss good bye...

Can no longer be the stealth rider anymore... haiz... but outing stil can d... if u all dun mind i too slow... with my new rider...

wat is that? TBA dun worry will update every1... sad to leave this community... but wat to do... i dun like the bike to be open up and let them try... haiz...

Is it in the following colours?

Juz let it go...maybe not fated to be with the bike.

yah la....juz let it go la...furthermore, he has been talking about changing bike, no wonder la the current bike gave up on him...LOL...

before, there was this Someone who said "GOT PROBLEM with the bike???? CHANGE BIKE LA!!!! As simple as that"

You guys remember who???? i think Ah Gui remember him..... due to that conflict, that particular group left this thread. now they are in another forum site...(not singaporebikes)...lets not remember the past aite....hehehe

But if in Kenshin shoe right now, rather than touching the internal engine and might cost a bom, change bike is a good move. thats after u really confirm its the timing chain and synchronisation problems...

.....

now back to the story. for fuel-injected bikes, eg GSR. there is something called fast-idle. depending on the temperature, the ECU will fast idle the bike during a given time. make use of the given technology....

it been along time since i able to hear my bike start in the morning in fast idle. i don't know where it goes... it start to disappear when i adjust my idle to abt 1.2k...

Ur posting dont invite so many flames...and noone here says that u r showing off...but try not to give wrong advice from ur experience.. it might cause other bikers problems if they follow what u said...

ah?? 4K?? who would wanna rev their FI bike upto or maintain 4K while warming up??? during warming up, 4K is already enuf to have a sudden surge of current to ur system...

Farnie thing go workshop, they dunno hahahah they dun even dare to touch.

Anyway its juz a mechanical thing. So no fiddling with the ECU or any electrical thingy. Its the same as how you adjusted the idiling knob only this one a bit more leceh coz they dun wan people to tamper with it.

Need to lift up tank to see and adjust the screws. Its part of the maintenance checks if you check the Suzuki GSR manual.

Picture only in the manual but also difficult to decipher. You come down to outing then lift up tank and I show you. Its near the idiling screw there.

if the adjustment can be done by hand and not needed any special instrument, especially mechanical, then i will do it. Adjust clutch cable slack, tension chain, top up brake fluid, top up coolant, change light bulb, change air filter, change engine oil & filter, change spark plugs, clutch cable, change brake pad, adjust idle, adjust throttle slack, etc all can be done by ownself.... if u wan.

I think they may have tweak your bike wrongly then paiseh say no need to charge hahaha. For me its a relaxing and fun moment to DIY my own bike. It gives me time to understand how the bike function and I as a rider to be aware of its internal performance.
