I guess my 2nd bike will come soon....very very soon.........

the swing arm is ugly seh!!! macam the gladius. chepo looking swing arm. everything else looks hot. and the swing arm has to spoil it. i think they rather use a gsr or gsxr swing arm instead pls... if yes, i also may consider. hehe!

Sorry to hear that.. It's better to go to 1 place n do replacement. Save the hassle.. Maybe u can check with looi's motor for some of the parts replacement. Could be ex tho.. Btw at wad speed did u skid? Hope u are ok.. Hate to see fellow riders hitting the tarmac for whatever reason. Ride safe people!

Current ride - Gilera ST200 (April 2011-present)

You self-skided until so bad huh. How fast were you going? The damages are so bad even my first accident with a taxi also not until like that..

My guess is send it to a bike shop and let them settle. Cause if you're going to get the part yourself from agent it's going to cost you much more. Agent normally sell parts more expensive to walk in customers.. :goodluck:

Ugh, ouch! Its heartening to know that you are alright. Another option to get parts would be from KS motors at Jalan Besar. Guess it would be better to get repairs done at a workshop, Unique motorsports? Prolly they could give you a discount since the amount you'll be paying is not quite a small sum.

Take this as a lesson and come out as a better rider, alright?

bro, how did ur frame slider crack? isn't it suppose to be sliced n worn if u skid? what brand did u use? u don't have fork sliders? it's important too. anways, in stead of changing the plastic parts, u can send it for fibre patching. it's cheaper than getting a new one. than spray ur own colour lo. like the YELLOW BEAST! :thumb: get the list that u need replacing, get the quotation from unique, than also try to go ask ur self tan compare the price. to save money u got to work hard for it bro! for levers, i think it's cheaper to rebend or get the "TITAX" look a like one. for the gear lever, they can bend straight back, they did once for me. but no promises said by them. it can break. for brake disk, u can try ebay. haha! :cheeky:

Its simple...if you claim from your insurance, next year when you renew, your premium will go sky high. Anyway, can see the breakdown of what will be done for that amount? I am not saying I do not trust them, juz curious. You may want to get a second opinion from another shop like planet or motoworld.

If not, try to get the bike up and running first. Like if the front fork bent, can see if can press back. Cosmetic items like tail board, can do later. Maybe can hide the scars by sticker or something. That may bring down the repair cost.

Ideally, best time is during the day, from 1pm-5pm departing from Singapore. No jam watsoever. If u are a night owl, go after 1am, the jam should have cleared already. Avoid the checkpoint at all costs from 6pm-10pm if u are a first timer, u love your ride and dun want it to get scratched. The riders from JB usually rush home during this time, and wont hesitate to cut queue if u are slow and inexperienced.
