machine_k - i have close to zero interest in modern vespas i can't say the same for other girls of cos but personally i feel modern vespas don't look too different from other scooters/bikes on the road. oh well, maybe it's just me haha

 

cephelix - yup ah joo is really busy. i called him earlier. he said he can only work on my bike next week and asked if i was ok with such an arrangement. i was like err ok loh haha so i guess i can only collect my bike late next week.

small things can fix it yourself, it's the big/troublesome/involves-safety stuff that requires their help.

haha fluffpuff, i hate to say that, but yes... classic attracts me more than the modern... which explains why i'm riding the manual one..

 

but different ppl have different taste mah, i'm trying to be political here. wait spark off some debate..=)

 

anyways, how come AJ take such a long time to spray a side cowl?

sori kepo abit. talk to aj on wed. apparently, there are lots of bikes in queue waiting to be sprayed. My fren has been waiting for 3 weeks for his scoot. so far was onli being patched up. cant blame him. weather not on his side and there is onli one guy spraying many bikes.

haha aiya heck what people think. it's a classic vespa thread la what do people expect? hahah ermm ah joo busy mah plus of cos i'm sure him knowing about my alternative form of transport and my extremely infrequent riding plays a part too la oh well, it's ok la, not in a big rush to collect my bike. am kinda considering getting a white/pink color theme for my bike so giving me that extra bit of time to work on what i want might be a good thing too.

Ehlo folks....been busy...just got home...damn!!! scootless sucks man.....

 

Machine_k, my horns are standard 12V horn since i have converted my previous 6V contact point thingy to a 12V CDI....hence i would think a rectifier is enuff...need to test it out...just need to take the backup battery in the IU into consideration....

 

Rae07, if your fren on a XR4 connect the IU direct from a rectifier, it should work perfectly....he got a notice from LTA for?

 

 

cephelix, thailand may offer what is offered here in terms of mirrors....

for mirrors...i was thinking of those stainless steel ones....i think RS has quite a number of stainless steel stuff...

i prefer the classic/vintage for their history....when you ride one it's like you're riding abit of history....

finding out about the past etc...

but the modern ones are not that bad....just test rode my friend's LX150...and it is really different from the classic/vintage ones...

bigger,heavier,more power,auto,silent,better braking..everything is better...cept for the looks....

imagine if we had that engine on our scoots....

and saw the GT250 at TA....damn big....

scary...

haha. i wouldnt know. maybe u ask him. Who knows preffered cutomer can jump queue. then u have to walk his dogs for one month. Haha.
