Hi, how much U buy ur velocity stack? How I feel the improvement in performance?

Hi...just wanna check wif U. My is a CBR954. Being riding it for 2 plus yr liao. Rather consistant wif the mileage in Singapore. Ard 252km before hitting reserve. But for the past 3 tanks of fuel...my bike hit reserve at 220-230km. Nothing has been done. But last week, I hit reserve again at 227km then I con't riding it for approximate 15km to my house Esso. I expect to pump in at least more than 15 litres since I already hit reserve and con't riding for 15km. But surprising, I just managed to squeeze in 14.2 litres really to the brim. Curious??

 

Tat's means my physical fuel comsumption still ok.? Is it the fuel sensor or any problem wif my fuel line?

 

Therefore, I try something. I pour in 1/2 bottle of STP complete fuel system solution. Now still running....yet to yield any result yet.

 

So may I know wat's U guys 954 mileage?? Anyone encounter the same problem as mine?

 

Or anyone know the average mileage for a stock 954 so as to draw referance.

Long time never meet U guys. Last met Colin and his CBR600 frien when goin dunuo kulai or perling. Have been busy for quite sometimes. But think some of U might have spotted me on the road. Ya...Xiao Di..still have a chance to see ur 954.

recommend u buy engine ice coolant from bikeshop. drink liau, promotes healthy brain cells.

Ensure that recalls have been done:

- clutch outer, clutch actuating rod

- longer fuel hose

 

929 is generally bulletproof. Usual stuff pertaining to buying 2nd hand applies (e.g. wear and tear parts, weird engine noise, etc).

 

It's cheap because:

- not as fierce looking as the rest

- not as powerful as the rest (but more than enough for most)

- won't beat a K whatever over X number of lamp posts

- does not give as much bragging rights during bench racing sessions

 

Unless it's an accident bike, I'd say that's a very good deal. Buy it and let's hit the tracks.

same problem la. mine always when reserve light came on, then i went to pump sometimes also only 14 plus litres........ dunno wats the problem yet... nothing major

there is some performance increase that suit my style of riding..

us 166 shipping us 32. i bought from ebay. factory pro selling 206us without shipping. the midrange now have a slight punch to it only. i seen on cbr us forum that u can get 6-8 hp from mid with tuning and 1-3 hp on top. thats wat i want also cause i can't seem to catch up with the newer bikes at pg after corners,so hope the v stacks help a bit.
