i just fell my bike today. she has a minor chip off at the rear seat. my heart pain like phark.

I'm so scared of dropping my baby at the track. Lowside is one thing but I'm really worried about highsiding it.

All 929 rider, I am thinking of upgrading to 929. Any major problems on this bike. I have 8-9k in cash for machine price, do u think I can get the bike at this price?Thanks

i stopped at a parking lot. front wheel stopped at a small oil patch. it skidded like 1.5cm away from the original position and i was unable to balance and it fell really slowly.

no scratches on the fairing or watsoever.. only a small chip off.. abt 1cm by 1cm. phark man

yes, with 8-9k cash, u will be able to find an FT 929, or FS929..

 

FU.. maybe not quite possible since market price for FU is 10k.

 

anyway, i asked from bike shop they quopted me $12k.

 

954 FU plate quoted me $16.8k

That almost happened to me in my carpark last night with the CBR150. There was water on the ground and a bit of an oil slick. Managed to park the bike but then when I stepped off and went to walk away I almost slipped and fell on my arse. Gotta be darn careful parking.

Just be patient and thorough with your search. Try not to get one with too high mileage as you're likely to have to spend more afterwards. Unless ofcourse many of the parts have been recently replaced. I was looking for a good 929 since I sold my Z1000 in Feb and only just bought one.

I was in the hunt for 929 for the last 2 months, no problem getting one with 8-9k cash. Lowest FU that I checked was 9.5k. Dunno whether the guys I checked their bikes are still selling the 929. Let me know if you want me to find out from them. In the end spent a little more to get a 954!

954's are still considerably more expensive. Cheapest is probably around 13k. (could be wrong here)

 

I got an FS plate 929 with low mileage. FT's cost a little more and for FU's more again. But I'm more concerned with the mileage and condition than the age/plate. Despite being FS mine has only 46,000km on it and is in very good condition compared to many later plated models I looked at.

hi guys...can i just check if anyone is interested in a Bitubo 4 way-Adjustable race mono shock for CBR954(brand new) and a pair of Gillies rearsets(second hand) for CBR929 and CBR954...

 

the rearset are going for $350...the shock actually ordered by a guy riding a Cbr954 who has gone missing for the last couple of months,the retail for it was suppose to be $2050 but now i'm offering it to anyone at $1650...it is brand new and has never been mounted on a bike yet...if no one buys it then i'll return it to Bitubo on the first week of nov...thks
