Besides, the stock 530 chain and steel sprockets lasts forever with proper maintenance.

u will know the difference on the track..... changed 520 and my rev range starts 500 rpm earlier...... better to chase the litre class bikes with....

hmmph still bit blurr wif this chain and sprocket thingee... will have my sprocket and chain change end of the month. recommendations?

 

i tot of using original sprockets and did x ring.

 

comments on stelth, afam, rk chain, ek chain, talon, renthal... the 520,530...sizes, teeth...

 

im sure there are other blades whom are bit blurr..

 

kind enuff to input ur experience and "heard off" comments on this products?

 

lastly where to get it at gd price?? hahahha

ya changing to a 525 or 520 will give better respone to our bike . But i think will stick back to 530 for more milage.

Hmm... I'm sure there are benefits, as there are those who swear by the mod, and those who say the benefits are not worth the expense.

 

Think I belong to the laid back and cheapo group, where long lasting is higher on the priority list than catching others.

 

Track tires and brakes already buring a big hole. Think can do without replacing drive train regularly. Kekeke

my original chain and spocket only last me 1 1/2 years only. Track only 4 times...... somemore so ex...... now 3 times track session liao and 1 3hr track day. My afam spocket still werking fine...... no rational......

My OEM set lasted 50,000km, with quite a number of track sessions thrown in.

 

The chain and rear sprocket still looks very good, but front sprocket looks like shark's fin. So decided to replace the entire set.

 

That's pretty decent mileage I must say. I'm sure the scottoiler played a big part in the longevity of the drive train.

yeah yeah....my oem sprockets and did x ring on my ex s4 lasetd me close to 3 years...but upon reaching 2 yrs, i changed the fornt sprocket. true enuff....monthly cleaning of chain and weekly lubing using scottoiler extend the lifespan of my sprockets and chain.

 

ulysses..how much u got it bro to hav it change and where?

 

btw wads the oem no. of teeth for front and back?

mi got think b4 to change stealth front up 1 size , afam rear spocket up 2 size n 525 x ring dun know wheather will last or not ?:confused:

for my full tank haven plus the resever is around 270km...

 

most of time 4k rmp change gear

Expressway riding: Ard 240km b4 hitting reserve

 

Minor Rd riding: Ard 210 to 220 km b4 hitting reserve

 

 

But the results r based on my bike having a full system exaust... Stock will be able to get better consumption... :smile:

eh my if SG petrol ard 270km-280km then reserve tank

but if MY petrol 314km then reserve light come out

my bike should be fully stock.. city riding 250km hit reserve..

kana sai arr....220km for only slip on leo vince and catalyse cut. hmmphh issit normal or my main jet or pilot jet faulty? have not service my injestor before....

 

any recommendations?

btw guys...wads the size of the DID chain if wan oem size?? 530vm?

Stock size for chain is 530

not too sure for 929 but 954 stock is front 16 rear 43 . i think aftermarket onesare lighter but not too sure about the wear and tear should be almost the same as stock i guess
