hey guys.. do it have any differ wif bolder compare to normal super4? i found out that the bolder windshield have lots virbra sound when travel at low speed...

 

 

 

Stock windshield shoudlnt have any, cos its fitting.

 

Unless change to ill-fitting aftermarket windshield.

 

Check the lock mechanism @ the left fairing document pocket.

Mine was always rattling when on the move, took me sometime to trace the source.

Bt there's nothing can do much about the rattling thou...

My IU vibrates like vibrator between 4-5K rpm. Irritating. Make my bike sound like got some major problem. Other than that, no other vibrations.

faz, yr IU is fat & old de or new & slim de?

 

if its the before de, check the cover hinge there, could be clear plastic cover crack & loose, or the metal link cranky, maybe just give a gd ol' WD40 spray?

 

otherwise, get it covered up with a IU wrap?(leather cover, nt decal wrap)

 

its what i experienced when i was riding my TA.

 

as for the new IU, the whole thing's most sturdy. so no rattling.

 

now my only irritating concern is a rattling sound coming out frm the left side fairing/screen there..

i juz sold off my boldor in aug, a silver FBB 8*** G, for $9.2k.. tried pushing for $9.5k also cannot get..

any idea where to get aftermarket windscreens?

 

Mine is FBC 8*** P :cool:

 

good question... been thinking about that, but with the shape of the cowl is it possible to fit anything bigger?
