Im going to change mine to a OEM AT's handlebar, waiting for stock to arrive frm FJT nia. Will post up peektures when done.

Note: If using Honda OEM bars, no need drill holes or cut.

Cos, the bar end inner part, can be extracted & reuse, & mostly, Honda bars are universal according to the dimension, either 7/8 or 1".

As for the handle consoles, as long as using OEM Honda bars, they'll fit. Only have to fret on the wire lengths..

&, just get use to the longer, or shorter bar length..

ldslds: Reminder(again), please take note that the fender eliminator is not legal & attracts the antsMen in white.

Note: Do @ own cost....

haiz i dun see why fender eliminators shld be made illegal. They really improve the aesthetics of the bike.

My rational for LED strips on the rear of the bike also applies. I rather have them to illuminate me then to go without that all the cars cannot see me.Unfortunately alot of ppl are scared to put. But its for safety so i dun understand why police catch.

Hahaha~! Ppl choose to remove fender but I chose to lengthen them. Had my "No Kiss!" fender extender put up the 2nd week of ownership of my bike. Well, for me I would like to add an additional red LED brake lights to warn others that I'm braking but stil haven't found a suitable place and type of led to mount nicely.

Watched the promo video of the CB1300 ST and yupz confirmed the bars are higher bend and spots on a touring screen.

as for the mudguard, if im nt wrong, its consider part of the bike, so any removal or moification to the any part that comes with the bike is deem illegal.

So far after installing my mudflap I have no issues of water goin up to my tail lights or tail board... Some more I trim a bit shorter so won't look like apek2...

I was thinking of using 120/70 and 160/70 size tyres for my next change. So far I have narrowed down to 2 tyres, the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 Interact and the Bridgestone BT021. Have that little more clearance for my header but wonder if the clearance for the tyres would be enuff and wat would the profile be like...

imo, unless u're riding a GT14, otherwise, u can forgo the BT021.

im using that & honestly, imo, it suck. big time.

dry condition, no good, wet, lagi worse. oni bagus part, long lasting, hv it for ½ a year liao.

if u go read up on it, u'll understand.

my advice, if gt $, & looking for a ST tires, go for Michelin Pilot Road 2.

Im saving for that when this current ones koyak...

i've not tried too many on my boldor

but have used the M3 previously and now using pirelli diablo strada

found both pretty good

prefer the strada though :)

Grounded... :/

My previous tyre was the Diablo HR. Used it for almost 30k km. Last me abt 7-8mnths. Cos was thinking of increasing the profile height to give me a bit more clearance over bumps and my headers... Currently on M3 and they're serving me well in the dry, wet and corners.

Folks, my project Adv S4 Bol d'Or is falling into place.

As said, I change the handlebars to an OEM AT handlebar.

The queries would always be, what if the lines are not long enough?

What if it cant fit? What ifs?...

So many what ifs until I just want to try it out to see if it works.

So, here goes, took a day's leave, went to ah chong @ Ubi, & starts to dismantle the mini-elephant.

Why I need to be @ a bike shop, is because the only tool that I dont have, is the air compressor & air gun(for the grips)...

Anyway, after all's down, the replacement process starts.

Main concerns would be lines for clutch cable, brake lines, left & right console wirings.

As I took my time, I slowly re-routed the clutch cable, bypassing the usual route and also make sure that it doesnt affect the turning or it being snapped by the triple clamp.

Next up, the consoles, this was not a fuss as it's easily re-routed without hassle at all.

Then comes the brakelines, this was most concern as it's almost stretch to limit and the brake reservoir unable to fit properly.

Had to re-route the lines properly so as the lines can get sufficient freedom without been snap by the triple clamp and steering cone..

Lastly, but not least, the hardest part...

Extracting out the inner part of the balances...

Ah Chong had to DIY grind a pincer plier so to take out the part, and I guess he'll keeps it for the next lucky person... :D

The only hassle was to compress the clips, which need to use abit of idea, and then knocking it out...

Fixing it back in was, however, not a problem at all

Finally, all settled, and viola...

Higher & wider handle + upright riding posture...

Peektures...

Hi fellow Bol'dor riders, I have a query. I'm getting these 2 end-cans:

1) LV (Silver Colour with SBK LV Logo)

2) Yoshi ( I don't know which model but it's the older model. It's circular, not oval and shiny silver in color.

Getting these 2 end-cans this friday. Just for my knowledge, I wanna know which pipe is better as in sound and performance wise? Please reply me thru sms at 9092 6752... Thx in advanced!
