hehe no worries. i saw another one park at my office at the same area where i park my bike. took a photo and try to smile at the rider cos he happened to be walk towards his bike when i was returning fr lunch. wah rider v dao, just ride off......

Hi All Bol'Dor riders and friends, sorry to interrupt but would like to ask you all some opinions. I looking to get a bike and am seriously considering the Bol'Dor as one option.

 

Saw it at Boon Siew and Mah motors. Like it very much but have only black on display. Was told only other colour is silver(have not seen it). Honda web site has the classic red and white and I understand 2006 model have classic blue trimmed with white and red with smoke clear signal like covers.

 

You guys and gals have had it a few months already so would lilke to know how is your bikes doing, what problems and how you feel about the bike overall.

so far so good. only heard that the front fairing will start to rattle after a while but mine's still good. er u will get a bit of a stare cos some r trying to figure out wat bike it is. Silver version hmm c pic, i took a pic at the recent expo.

 

Silver is easier to maintain but black when polished will shine like a mirror but sheesh it's tough to keep it shining as most ppl will know the tri-color one somehow it grows on me and i tot to myself i shd hv gotten the tri-color one and yes the other colors u mentioned r new colors.

wat i heard is light color like silver n white is even harder to maintain then black.

n black is classic....

 

anyway, got white?? can mod to some wat like a TP bike... ppl c u come, tot is TP then they will slow down.

Yeah, they have a white one in Boon Siew, and if you want to look like TP this one already got boxes and red blinker lights. Was told it's for CD, so don't know if you can convince them to sell you

Just remembered, Boon Siew having open house saturday 16th Dec.Got makan and promo on bike sales. Wish I can go and check out the preices but am away.Maybe some of you free can drop in, makan and update me on promos.

no worries. u intend to get the new blue red white color one? like wat contacted said, u need to hv an acquired taste for the bike. i was fooled by the 1st look of the tri-color cos i tot it didn't look nice but after a while, i really began to like it. even my hubby now agrees tat the tri-color is nice....oh well i will hv to live w my orh lulu and the easily visible finger prints on my oil tank.

Not sure yet but quite likely. I uncle so like retro and classic looking bikes...no need to acquire that tase any more, natural taste...hehe

personally am not into silver cos silver to me is neither here nor there leh. i prefer solid colors. black is nice but gets boring after a while hehe, i park at the office open air carpark and by the time i go home, alot of dust on my bike liao.

 

price is no secret most ppl get it abt abt 14k plus on the rd for the black color one cos they parallel import it. my friend wanted silver and i think she has to top up quite a bit of money to get it fr boon siew so she ended up w black as well. mine is fr speedway and the last time i saw 2 units of tri-color ones.

Agree with you. Silver safe colour but can be dull very easily. Black is really nice but all black vehicle got same problem, dirt and waves very easily seen, so must upkeep constantly to keep it shiny and attractive. Not a problem for me as I spend more time cleaning my bike and maintaining then riding it.

 

Looks like currently tri-colour only available from parallel importers. I did see a 600 with tri colour in Boon Siew. Have to check it out again when I return...now just dreaming.

 

Have you gone on long rides like into Malaysia before? I have never ridden an S4 before so wondering how comfortable the riding posture is (I have been riding cruisers).

 

Anyone went to Boon Siew open house?
