the other way is to restrict the size of the tube..

make it smaller by squeezing the tube..

this way the flow will be easiler to control..

i secure the tube on the swing arm using cable tie..

so i purposely tighten one of it to reduce the hose size.. so the flow is easiler to control..

anyone still into this DIY stuff? I find it interesting and maybe shall we form a group and do it together?

no need to form a group.just "do it yourself".

things are very cheap and easy to get.

any aquariam shop to buy the plastic valve and regulator that dosent leaks.

Dont seem to find one near to my place.

Try Clementi Blk328, I got mine from there, so far so good, no leaks at all after install for a week plus.

Pics of the on/off valve and regulator on my DIY chain oiler.

Get a cloth hanger... cheap and stiff :cheeky:

Actually oiler with electrical pump is a waste of resourse (no offense intended). Need to supply electric, need to find a good location to mount, need to ensure it is shielded rain/splash. too troublesome...

what help you need? BTW my oiler still working today. I only turn one once in a while (2-3 days interval)

well it's up 2 the individual ...

i'm using cloths hanger too for the tip now ...

actually i did use graffti chain oiler b4 but it drips when you are parking . As there's still excess oil in the tubes so it will drip. I can't tolerate have to see oil patch in the morning. Oils and coolant patch too me is suppose to be a sign of engine failure . A warning sign.

A electric chain oiler intro by tony , with i twist of my own , will force any excess oil in the tube b4 parking. So for the past 2 days ... no oil patch ...

Anyways since it's electric , you can mount the bottle anywhere , in any position ... do not need to even care about graffti law .

of cos ... there's always a pro and cons ....

this electric oiler already cost me $50 .

oh i will post the finishing pics soon ... with a volt meter mount beside the bottle ... to replica the look of a NOS system ....
