Thats from your point of view. From my point of view, I think its quite a big leap to go from 125cc to 400cc. If possible, I'd rather go for the 250cc bike first then, move on to the 400cc bike later on when I'm comfortable.

u can leap to 400cc from 125cc. very soon u will get used to the power. before this i hv tried on my own, from 200cc jump to 1300cc. just remember, don't over confidence once u switch, get used to the power before u wanna pull any stunts. :cheeky:

in my memory zxr250 is a very very problematic bike, but anyway if that time singapore did carry this model, now should be all scraped already, this model already very very old.

Hmm, i think TS is talking about the new 250r kawasaki with the v-twin engine, i think. If 1 spark plug and EO den it's quite ok and comparable to 150cc 2 stroke. If still 4 plugs and EO's, den i say forget it and get the 400cc's..

250cc & 400cc quite similiar. If provided both are inline 4. Then the handling abt the same. Slight weight difference nia. But top end no nd compare , no matter of power & speed.

Whether or not it is a single cam bears no relation to the number of plugs.

You are right... no words will be able to describe the experience on the bike. What's more, everyone will have different experience even onboard the same bike. :thumb:

In term of maintenance, this bike should be cheaper. Twin parallel engine requires only 2 spark plug & 1.9 liters E.O. (2 bottles 4T enough) Maintenance is cheaper than 400cc bikes. Power is more than sufficient for Sg road. The only downside is the machine still running with carb...

Posted

It depends upon the emition norms,if emition norms are as stright as the brits then u will get the Fi or else i think kwakker might prefer releasing the carb version.

is it true that the ninja 250r has a lot of niggles.or was that the old ninja?
